Firstly thanks to tiny for organising a great trip. I normal hate Brighton as it usually means shopping, but when we take over the city
As BUZZ and I sat on the beach with the girlfriends and ate doughnuts we could see all the Subaru tops dotted along the pier.
At work today I had a mate come upto me and ask if I had anything to do with all the Subarus in town yesterday. Think he got caught up behind the Hants tunnel convoy home too!!!
As I arrived at Pease pottages tiny asked me who was leading down to Brighton
The problem was trying to get 70 Scoobs out of the services!
I assume most that got lost missed the first turn after Handcross village and carried straight on (on to the A23).
I managed to catch a few infront of me and when they paused I nipped passed to take the lead. I even remebered where the twisty bits were and managed to slow everyone down so we had a relatively clear run through the best bits
Thanks Keef for taking the lead (did a great job of keeping so many together) and Starship for bringing up the rear
Think we managed to get everyone parked together although split between 2 car parks.
My legs are killing me from running around catching everyone and directing them to the main group. (like last time )
I did suggest to tiny that the locals lead small groups next time, but I like the idea of "pace notes"
Trying to keep 70 cars together is never going to work, plus smaller groups will allow us to enjoy the roads more
tiny,
Let me know when your planning the next one and I'll sort the pace notes and some leaders this end
