I'm the same situationn as you Mike, I had no problems with BT in the 2 years I was with them. A Few of my friends have been with Pipex for years and had no problems. My single week with them has been good so far

I wanted an unlimited service not because I'll use it, only because I believe Broadband should be unlimited and it's another case of Rip off Britain. The only option I had was to vote with my feet and move ISP's

angon i'm confused now you've had the upgrade and are getting adownload speed of 227kb/s is that the same as "downstream" speed, if so i'm only on 512k broadband and i'm getting the following:

Downstream420 Kbps (52.5 KB/sec)453 Kbps (inc. overheads)
Upstream249 Kbps (31.1 KB/sec)268 Kbps (inc. overheads)

Im on BT yahoo Broadband 512k, this is the first i have heard about any upgrade.
Is this something you have to ask for, just had a look on the BT yahoo home page and i can't find anything about it
Wouldn't mind a free speed upgrade too!
