the first fix was an ECU reset but that made no difference...

Bu99er, I wonder if it is going to start hesitating again.

It certainly ticks over properly now.

I had three Mafs go on my RB5, in about a year. So I flung the ECU (well still got it though if they're that sought after it might be worth something )

All of mine went the same way, couldn't use hardly any throttle. if you did it got so rich that it bunged out heaps of black smoke, same as if you disconnect it altogether. No CEL though any time. I put it all down to using an HKS induction kit.
