Crossroads team are the guys and girls from Crossroads Subaru Garage in Tredington (stratford on avon) ... headed by Jon Mathers
They were down there with their ultrafast 22b engined project car as well as a tricked up STi. The only reason I was able to get the WR1 on track was because of them having their pit team do a job on getting my exhaust changed and modified back as close to standard as possible. For which I am eternally gratefull.

Hmmmmmm I saw some of you leaving bedford on the A421, as a cruised off into the afternoon to go to Nottingham. 123 WRX slid past me on the duel carriageway, towards J13 M1.(I heard him for some time afterwards...nice exhaust note), nice pic of it somwhere on page 1 or 2 of this thread. I hope you all got back home in one piece remembering your road manners, leaving the track behind. It was like scooby city seeing everyone out and about and all of them full of smilie faces.

I used to have a proton ... you can pick the GTI model up for about 6k these days.
0-60 in 7.2 secs
Lotus Tuned handling - with a nice little lotus badge on it
Sports seats
Agressive looking body kit
Alloy wheels
ICE
Pukka motor and rapid as anything. Good performance car to start with.

you'd prob be able to get an old old old WRX import for that. I know they are going for stupidly low prices these days. I sold my 98Turbo for 5 grand and that was a year ago.
