LOL, OK

I was laughing at them, because it is *so* unlike me to be doing this kind of thing

Still, it's got to be done

Responding to an alarm bell at one end of the prison when you are at the other end can be quite a run especially at full sprint( you cant jog to these things)...My prison covers a massive area, not sure of the exact measurements, but needless to say it hold over 1000 inmates so its large.
Its not 1.5 miles from one end to the other but you certainly feel like youve run it when you get there, and youve got to be fit enough to restrain a couple of fighting punters when you get to the other end aswell. So all in all the fitness test levels are low but are required to some extent

I'm looking into joining the RAF Police.

What sort of eyesight requirements are there?
I wear contact lenses and I'm at 6/12, but is there an unaided eyesight requirement level?

Is it the same for the MOD Police?

To be honest you sound a little envious of my job. You didnt fail the entry tests to become a prison officer at some point did you Yoza?? Theyre not particularly hard but somebody with your IQ might struggle.

http://www.personneltoday.com/Articl...e+off+sick.htm

Envious.......not me.

There is one part of the entry criteria that would rule me out of the job.

Nothing to do with interlect though.

By the way, I dont work on the production line.

The dustcaps are put on in a "sub assembly" area, quite far away from the hustle and bustle of the production line.

Yoza, given the queues I've seen for post-production trim fixing, your production line doesn't do much at all

LOL

Training isn't going too badly thanks

I'm not overly keen on doughnuts either, so I'm lacking on performance in that dept

I shall bear the 'frisking' lessons in mind

Bleep test eh I'd forgotten about that.

I never discovered what level it went up to , but last time I did it, I got to 14-4. Was rowing internationally (is that a word?) at the time mind you....

If I remember rightly, the first lever was a gentle stroll, then it starts to pick up a bit. Level 5'd be no problem
