Its not 1.5 miles from one end to the other but you certainly feel like youve run it when you get there, and youve got to be fit enough to restrain a couple of fighting punters when you get to the other end aswell. So all in all the fitness test levels are low but are required to some extent

Gav1, tell us about the time you had to restrain a cat 'A' prisoner.....
Oh go on.
I never get bored of that one.
Or the time you had to don full battle dress with 5 of your mates because Big Bernie wouldnt go for a pooh.

I'm looking into joining the RAF Police.
What sort of eyesight requirements are there?
I wear contact lenses and I'm at 6/12, but is there an unaided eyesight requirement level?
Is it the same for the MOD Police?

Envious.......not me.
There is one part of the entry criteria that would rule me out of the job.
Nothing to do with interlect though.
By the way, I dont work on the production line.
The dustcaps are put on in a "sub assembly" area, quite far away from the hustle and bustle of the production line.

Are you up to 10 dough-nuts yet ?
PS. If you need any 'hands on' when it comes to frisking, Im you man, free lessons too.

LOL
Training isn't going too badly thanks
I'm not overly keen on doughnuts either, so I'm lacking on performance in that dept
I shall bear the 'frisking' lessons in mind

Bleep test eh I'd forgotten about that.
I never discovered what level it went up to , but last time I did it, I got to 14-4. Was rowing internationally (is that a word?) at the time mind you....
If I remember rightly, the first lever was a gentle stroll, then it starts to pick up a bit. Level 5'd be no problem
