micks car after the tunnel incident
I've also been approached by both parties involved to post up the footage so i'll get to it this afternoon
I have no pics or footage of the other incident as i thought it was inappropriate at the time to do so

ok, as requested by 'both parties' involved here is my in-car tunnel footage with some out-of -the car footage, which includes some of the mis-hap that took place
please excuse my swearing and the fact that i didn't catch all of it on film, to be honest i was more concerned on the welfare of poor mick, who could have easily lost his legs, than catching the action on tape.
firstly click this link and then click on 'click here to download the file now'
Its just over 1mb and its a limited download so if it runs out let me know and i'll re-do it.
chris
I also have footage from the 'ford' crossing later in the day which i will post up, then the rest can go to paul for the dvd.

Jeez, that looks like one hell of a mess. As said before at least the occupants all escaped serious injury. Looks like red was doomed yesterday.

certainly was a major 'brown trouser' moment for Adam and me when we saw it starting to go.. that instant 'sinking feeling' doesnt come close..
Even though Wanted managed to correct it, it then whipped back and then damn near did an endo into that bank then hit the tree.. all in a split second too..
doesnt bear thinking about if that bank wasnt there.
A little old lady on the way past (as we were directing traffic) stopped and said to me; "such a shame dear- it's the third one this month on this bend"

Brad- haven't decided yet about another car. It's been great not having to put petrol in the scoob. Dunno if I wan't to go down the pocket emptying route again straight away............F#####g hell that car owes me some money.
Was having a think about it today and I averaged out that in 2 years I've spent AT LEAST £11,000 on petrol
But then again I f#####g love scoobs........

Sorry to have missed you on messenger chrome, it has a habit of signing in on its own
On the subject on petrol cost, I'm up to £490.88 so far this year!
I don't know how long I can keep a note of how much I'm spending
Total scooby cost this year is: £1344, thats including minus the sale of my spoiler and old scoop!

SUNDAYS EVENTS!!!
A little old lady on the way past (as we were directing traffic) stopped and said to me; "such a shame dear- it's the third one this month on this bend"
But the knock at the end of the tunnel ,What the Hell was everybody massing in area with hardly any or no parking. When Marv and I came down stopped by Chris D it looked like something like a BUNCH OF CHARV'S ON A CRUISE !!!!
Please, please, please think of your actions as there maybe other groups behind you!!!!
Marv and myself spend a lot our time to arrange these trips around the Peak we were guttered about Sunday's events and thank god nobody was injured.
ENOUGH SAID!!!

These things definatly do/can happen to any of us. I am certainly no stranger to my car and have taken it to the limits and beyond many times before and have had my share of scuffs and bumps in it. Sundays events happened at LEGAL speeds, the tight roads and drizzle already had me tip toeing round some of the bends and still the car ended up in the state it's in now, If the kids weren't in the car then I would have been going far quicker.
The way I see it you are responsible for you. I am the one that decides wether or not to go somewhere and how I am going to drive. What happened on sunday was down to conditions, wet road+ alot of mud and I was the first one there. But this would have probably still happened if I was on my way to see mickey mouse on my own,no-one else can be blamed. If it hadn't been me someone else would have come off there. When I went past there on Monday to get the car moved, either the police or the farmer had put warning triangles up with "slippery road" written on them A bit late now.
**** happens. You get up the next day and crack on, you can't let **** get you down
