Just want to say cheers Paul & Marv for setting another event up.
I am glad the guys who had the accidents are all ok, Mick sounds like a bit of nimble footwork managed to save you.
Going to take the positive memorys away from this one!
Shimy's back wheels spinning up the hill as I held back until it gripped and took off.
The mad directionless group detours (we all had maps didn't we?)
The ford photos and Adele's soaking jeans and muddy shoes.
John - Great to see you again. You are still a hell of a lot quicker than me!
Tidgy - Give us a grin mate.
TBH - Roll on the next one!

i'm just uploading the few pics that i took, although i do have nearly 2 hours of video footage including the tunnel, the ford crossing (in car and out) and lots more.

yep, we are all ok. The light drizzle made the roads more slippery than they looked, most of us were aware of this before we left out and so when the accident happened it wasn't at full chat. Although from the look of my car you wouldn't think so. A massive thankyou to the lads that stopped and helped, we would have been f*****d if it wasn't for you lot, nice one.
Looks like it's the end of the line for my beast, but it has done me proud over the last 2 years............Time to build another
Anyone that has picture of my car, feel free to post them up.

Glad you are all well scott. i was only 2 cars behind. luckily for ABS i didn't rear end nick (or mick ??), i think i managed to stop within 5-10 ft from him. The in car video camera was actually switched off at the time, but my navigator watched the whole thing - i was busy avoiding collision myself but i must say from what i initially saw it looked pretty horific.
I didn't see much after that as i immediately shot back 100m to stop the traffic coming through.
As i've already said, glad you are all ok .

Yep, cheers, Marv & Paul. Events did put a bit of a dampener on it, but glad to hear everryone's all right. Metal and paint can always be straightened or replaced.
And yes, there was a slow Vanquish holding up Tidgy and myself.

Scott, Danny & kids - really glad you're all ok.
Relieved to see everyone involved in the accidents are ok - it does put the 'dampers' on things when you see these happen as a result of what is supposed to be a fun day out, particularly when you've helped to get things going.
I did ask a couple of you if you wanted another tour in the future but I would appreciate feedback as to whether this still appeals - please let me know.
