You're working on a Hollywood blockbuster, meeting rich & famous people, earning filmstar wages which means you can stop working for several months of the year which can be devoted to driving, polishing & modding your pride & joy whilst doing some very interesting & unique work that is displayed to millions...... and you're jealous of us?

Typical Gary. No-one sees or hears from him for ages and he comes on with a boatload of questions.

To answer them to the best of my ability...

Ask him to PM you the details.
Not that I know of, but it'd make a nice trackday motor
Yup, Katrina (when she takes a break from insulting / picking on me )
See above.
How the hell should I know? Ask him.

Ta. See you at the end of March

Silver sonic had a scoob
it's brakes were a tale of woe
for everywhere that Gary went
the car would not go slow

He changed the pads, he changed the discs
he fettled all his stoppers
but whenever he went out to asda
he ran down loads of shoppers

Thought sonic 'this is just no good,
I'll take more drastic measures
so he bought a set of bigger discs
to enhance his stopping pleasures

He ordered them from a bloke up North
Who's gonna remain nameless
'Cos when the rotors didn't turn up
The bloke said 'I am blameless'

Now Sonic was not easily swayed
He excercised his right
To ring and hassle his supplier
morning, noon and night

A few weeks passed and nothing came
despite his protestations
and this from someone whose adverts claim
he has customers in many nations

Longer yet, and still no sign
of anything round and shining
and everyone at Fenay Bridge
got sick of Gary's whining

Eventually, unbelievably
a parcel came one morn
but Gary's smiles were soon subdued
'twas his monthly stash of ****

a quick ham shank then back on the phone
to give the guy more grief
for Sonic's old discs were now getting
worn beyond belief

and rumour has it, on bright days
with close examination
daylight shone right through the discs
pin hole perforations

a decade passed, wars came and went
and still no discs arrived
poor old Gary couldn't help feeling
a little bit deprived

he'd almost given up all hope
when a knock upon the door
revealed a courier with a box
'That's twelve pounds ninty four'

'You what?' said Sonic, 'thirteen quid'
'What's all that about?'
'We've had this box for seven months
Just found it clearing out'

'It's been lying there collecting dust
for goodness knows how long
we never thought to check t' address
and that it might belong

to someone who was wondering
where it had gone to
so i decided to pop along
and hand it over to you

The thirteen quid's a storage charge
though under the circumstances
I think we'll waive it, just this time
besides, I'm not sure I fancy your chances

of getting these here discs to fit
on to your flat four motor
'cos it says upon the box
Mitsubishi Motor

Gary went from red to blue
then a fetching shade of puce
he launched a full frontal attack
a violent tirade of abuse

The courier, fearing for his life
turned on the spot and ran
Down sonics drive, through the gate
and shot off in his van

Our poor hero, stood forlorn
downtrodden and depressed
'I'm not having this' he cried
'I'll show the swine who's best'

He grabbed the parcel, got in his car
and followed the couriers tracks
for at least a mile and a half
before he ran out of optimax

and that's the last we heard of him
he disappeared from view
with plumes of smoke pouring out
of his ears, it's true

there's rumours from those in the know
that he's living up in the Lakes
if you should see him just be sure
not to mention brakes

Spoke to Maddy and he was coming to the TP... we'd arranged to meet at the Holmfield Arms.. Unfortunately he had to cancel at the last minute but will be in touch regarding coming back again to the fold with his modded motor and he's offered to have a look at the website as he's into Web Design propper now...

Still laffing from below... Ham shank & Gary.....Priceless mental picture

Can I second that (e)motion?

Maybe you wanna give me a 205
But it'd have to be a nineteen GTi
Maybe a clio sport would do the job
But a front drive track car is worse than none at all

Oh Harry Boy

In that case we might need some parts
I do believe that front drive only breaks my heart
So if you want a fun track car
And if you want some motion
Rear wheel drive's a notion
