I hear what you're saying and am in complete agreement about the selfishness thing - that is something I lay fairly and squarely on Thatcher's shoulders - she did so much damage to the social fabric of this country - most people just don't realise it yet.

My problem is that Howard was part of that government and try as I might I could never bring myself to trust him or his party again. Couple that to the current lot and you see where I'm coming from. I'm not proud of myself for not voting, but I really truthfully don't see anyone to vote for.

The really sad thing is I feel that the country has all but had it and I can honestly see myself emigrating which is something I'd never thought I'd here myself say. Sadly there seems no other way.
