I haven't contributed a penny to any appeal including this one. Dont feel quilty or anything, after all look at all the money the goverment is sending over. If i put my hand in my pocket for every sob story in the world I'd be flat broke.
Think youll find the recovery will be very quick over there with handouts or not.

i didn't donate.
bought myself a digital camera instead that i'd been working hard saving up for.
got a wife kid, 2 cars, bike, model helicopter to support.
charity begins at home.
however, i have done bike marathons, runs, sponsored events, and always give my shrapnel change to the pot on the newsagent counter, so i dont feel selfish, just have a few priorities, thats all.
each to their own, but dont judge people.
