'Course, Al's perfect sticker would be 'My other toy is a Mollie...'. Or similar.

What's that?
Bladdy impatient, these Scooby owners, aren't they (I'm working on it, Mick!!!)
As for the footage...yes, please bring it. Do you have any post *cough* incident with kerb piccies?
I've got some of what was left of the VII, dunno if it'd be in good taste to include them though. Thoughts?

As long as we don't add some uplifting music as we examane in detail the remains of said VII, whilst including much footage of pointing at charred driving licences, then I think we'll stay on the safe side of bad taste... IMO.. of course.
As an addition to make life a little more complex...
Dave Pickles (Le-Mans attending WR1 guy who attended our last meet at the FB) called a little while ago saying did we still want to go to Le-Mans?
15th June. Cost if we take 1 car and a 3 night stay over in a French House (not B&B) with evening tea will be about £220 (£90 for accom. £60 track ticket. £70 for chunnel train) with another ton for food, beer, lager, burgers and lager.
Question is............
Who is prepared / willing / able to get the track car AND look at going to the Ring AND Le Mans?
For me. If we actually go ahead and do the car, the track car would come first. Ring trip second with Le-Mans a close 3rd.
Costs will depend upon the car, but unless someone can come up with something special or convince me to change the order or even if the Track car falls through, then I can really only justify the costs of the Track car with a house purchase coming up soon... with the others following behind.... for example... I couldn't afford The ring & Le mans trip on top of the car .. But I could (just) if the car fell through...
Next question is... What are YOUR plans... Same order as mine?
I promised I'd get back Monday/Tuesday with a ball park figure..
If you are definetely wanting to go to Le-Mans, let me know and I'll forward your name(s) on...

PS. I'm very tempted. By all three options...

So.
Andy's in but hasn't confirmed which bits.
Chris is tempted by all 3, but no confirmation.
Al (in typical military styleee
) In order of my priority.
Track Car = Yes. But need put in costs down to <£500.
Ring = Yes if car falls through as this will cost ~£500.
Le-Mans = Not likely this year unless Car & Ring trip fall through.

Al - your list of priorities is truly faultless mate.....
If only the MoD had that level of strategic planning and commercial incisiveness.
There again, their gain would be our loss....

They had it for 22 years and are obviously the world force they are today becuase of it!!!
Keeping toilets clean, peeling spuds and marching around a bit with shiny shoes are obviously the back bone of any decent military force then!

My place is available. Secure and alarmed. But this would be one of the things up for discussion.
Al, apologies for my lack of clarity, sah!
I assumed that not having specified which of the three I was 'in' for would have naturally led one to believe that I had meant all of them. Someone once told me never to assume anything where women, children, dogs and folk from the Black Country are concerned, it must have slipped my mind that you were one or more of the aforementioned

Guys, guys, guys. I've found it. The PERFECT trackday car. Perhaps a little over our proposed budget, but well worth the extra couple 'o quid I'm sure you'd agree.
Dazza, you might wanna remove your underwear before looking, so as to avoid any unnecessary 'accidents'

Mmmmmm. nice!
