Well guys & girls looks as though this year will be as good if not better than last year!!! The local newspaper, Alton Herald, carries an article this week headed "Event to be a cracker for 'Scoobies' with a big photo of cars parked in the High St last year.

I have also been interviewed this week by 2 local commercial radio stations - Delta FM, based in Haslemere, and Kestrel FM from Basingstoke, both of whom will be publicising the event over the weekend. In addition, Hospital Radio Basingstoke are sending a reporter along on Sunday to record interviews with Scooby owners for broadcast later that day.

Yeh, I second that - it had a really good vibe. I think that its the families that come which make it special.

It's so good that a town can have a positive attitude to such an event in the anti-car environment that we currently live in.

I echo that, what a great relaxing day, thanks to everyone who made it such a wonderful day

 

Yes we had a great time too, looking at all the subaru's which were very impressive, very well layed out, well done to the organisers, we had our nephew with us and there was plenty for him to do to, the bouncy castle, swings and slides and looking in all the cars for scooby-doo's.
We really enjoyed the whole day, thanks.

The feeling / Atmosphere in Market square was uniuqe , The wife & I Sat there on the steps enjoying a real Dairy ice cream 99er , & For one moment it felt like we could of been sitting in , Paris , Rome , Venice etc , It just had that holiday feel about it
