I think Britain is one of the least 'racist' countries going, thats why we have such a diverse population. I think the problems begin when its seems imagrants get treated better than we do, ie found housing straight away, benifits, companys having to meet race quotas.
As for the MOBO thing, i always thought that, there would be riots if there was a MOWO.
I see all Men/Women as equal, but anyone who thinks there are no differences is dumb.
Black men 'generally' treat women alot differently to white men, not because white men are necesarily better, think its just a culture thing.
TBH i think far more Blacks/Asians are racist than whites, a couple of months ago, i went with a group of mates (all white) to a club in London, standing in the que we noticed that we happened to be the only white people there, out of about 200 people! i wasnt that bothered, untill.. every black guy that walked past glared at us as if we were somewhere we shouldnt be & they were all talking about us behind in the que. In the end the bouncers told us it'd be better if we went. When we left the whole que burst out laughing and starting shouting abuse. If thats not racism i dont know what is!
Having lived in Dagenham most of my youth i had plenty of Black/Asian friends, but to say we're all the same is wrong. My parents wouldnt chop me up into bits and put me in the boot of the car if i dated a muslim for example...

On whoevers comment it was about battering the hell out of someone who would are their views. Perhaps my freindships are such because of our honesty.
The problem lies today with people having more pride in their named clothes and Bling then they have in theirselves and morals.

I think your getting confused with the meaning's of jealous, and morals mate!

I do not need your violins and I do not need you to feel sorry for me. Quite simple I am happy with who I am, I just have an issue with a certain type of other people.

As for Uni *****. When I was at Uni(15 yrs ago) all ***** were essentially euro/white ***** ie organised by middle class white kids with really crap rock music and everybody chundering to impress their rugger bugger mates.
The point of an Asian Society ball( I organised on of the first big ones in London) was so we could listen to a different kind of music both english and indian and not have some stupid rugger bugger puke on our shoes.
The Asian ball is also usually at a time for celebration for us ie Diwali etc. No white person should feel unwelcome,if they do it has'nt been organised properly.
Most importantly though it was to try and get as many other asians of the opposite sex for across many Unis all into one place so you could have rich pickings. Hey,we were all young once!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I went to an Asian Soc ball in 1988. One of the first things I was asked when I came in was "So, how does it feel to be an ethnic minority?" I found that quite amusing...

If I am Racist it's because of the taxi driver charging me £12 to drive 2 miles 
Seriously, I catgorise anyone who fails to integrate into British society and cultures as racist.
Had an interesting conversation with the Inland revenue inspector (Sikh) a while back. And his accounts of the operations of many non-white businesses were far from above board. Fine, everybody tries to evade tax, but the tactics used to evade it were far from legal, moral, or decent for anyone involved. And I can't help wondering why the majority of local ethinc-ran businesses get away with this, and how they able to evade the taxation system. Lucky? Or is it an equal amount of whites get away with it too? Not from behind these eyes it seems anyway!
