Just a reminder.. I've booked 'The Cabin' area wich is situated at the far left as you enter the pub.. There's seating for 20+

Just grab a seat there when you want to order your meal / drinks......

See you all Thursday..

Hi Mick - glad you've got the car back mate, and that the other stuff is OK. It always amazes me how garages fail to spot the most obvious bits.....

We'll take a vote on the wheels.

WYIOC Initiation

20 Minute presentation – ‘Teach us something interesting we don’t know about our cars’. An easy start as most of us can just about drive the things in a straight line after turning the key and that ‘whirry’ thing in the front makes us go.

Musical melody – 1 Hr of acapella music as you entertain us with a pot pourri of WYIOC musical tastes from Kraftwerk, Cathedral Organ music, Happy Mondays and, of course, a tribute to 5ive.

Gymnastic display – To vividly display your flexibility in readiness for the ‘Fun With Vaseline’ phase.

Fun With Vaseline – After a short break we enter Dazza’s favourite bit. We gather close around the stage to be amazed at the never ending & imaginative ways that this wonderful substance can be used. 15 Minutes (this can be extended if you are enjoying yourself)

This is comedy – Make us laugh. With tears still in your eyes and the audience still moist with appreciation of Dazza’s skills you simply have to make us laugh. 1 Hr.

The Fnarr fnarr fun hour – Apple judges your skill and dexterity in extracting double entendre’s out of seemingly innocuous phrases such as ‘Advanced Driving Examiner’.

To obtain ‘Hero’ Membership status you must win the Pool competition – This is not as easy as it sounds as the WYIOC can proudly boast ‘The Worlds Luckiest Pool player’ - Guinness Book Of World Records page 249. Marvel at Sticky’s unbelievable cue action that can seemingly pot ***** thought unpottable, everytime.

Please note - The WYIOC can change the order and content of the phases at no notice dependent upon alcohol consumed or size of bribe.

{Self Humiliation Mode On}

Glad you said this as some of us aren't very good at going round corners.

So to summarise between a few of the 'acts' - the keywords shall be "in-depth" and "probing" (re examinations with vaseline ) and if you probe deep enough:

a) you might find out about ADEs

b) how deep some peoples' pockets are linked to short arms (no reference to Daz implied) - who's round is it whilst I find the buffets

c) how a good cueing action can get you out of a Sticky spot...

and many more hilarious anecdotes (or should that be antidotes ) for the price of a WYIOC membership...

Another good turn out and a real pleasure to meet some of the new faces who I'd only spoken to on here...

Here's looking forward to the lighter evenings so that we can chat more around the cars and start planning the runs out...

Here, here.

Hi to everyone. Especially the chap from Normy with the UK300. Brief chat, but I know how awkward it can be for folks who turn up for the first time. hope you stayed for a few after I went Scooby hunting in Martin's Evo
