@fastbloke
as well as diminishing your testosterone levels and directly affecting sperm production, the knock on effects (in men) include breast development and a reduction in ***** size.

i dissagree with the res but agree with the mucnchies and fat lol, im starting a diet soon lol

as for lazy etc yes it does to an extent, but you can still pick yorself up and get the job in question done no problem

i lead a totally stress free life due to a few spliffs a day..... isnt stress a big killer in the uk??

if im feeling ill with flu etc few spliffs sorts you out gets yout hat deeep sleep you need to recover

my freind and i own our own workshop, painting and mechanical repairs etc etc most of the work is on our own cars though

we installed a caravan in the compound next door with tv dvd ps2 etc etc pmsl

but it is needed with this cold weather

we smoke it all day pretty much, constantly passing the spliffs

our workload and quality of work hasnt dropped, yes were prob a couple dope heads in your eyes were just normal blokes that smoke spliffs instead of normal **** lol

its not an expensive habbit, works out about 40 quid a month maybe a little more, yes i am a relaxed person now

before when we were allways going out drinking clubbing etc etc were were in never ending fights and squabbles with door men etc been in court for never ending abh and comon assult charges

now we are placid easy going blokes, we think before we act lol

personally id rather smoke than drink

naturaly our bodys are very tollerent now to the cannibis so were prob the same as a straight person lol

@Sith

I looked at them m8. both extremes of view. the 2nd one is where i got some info on the vapourisers. seems like a better way of smoking dope (if smoking dope can be classed a healthy....NOT). heat it enough to start it smoking but not enough to make it combustible.

I wouldn't class myself as a heavy smoker. one or two a week usually before bed. i don't consider myself lazy or demotivated, as i make full use full use of my 45mins per week diversional therapy here on scoobynet. better go, time for my lithium.

cheers

I thought this page was very balenced. http://www.ukcia.org/culture/effects/risks.php

Accepted that there were potential risks etc.

If I were to smoke weed, it would be pure only, no tobacco and in a small roll up.

P.S At least someone had a look!

And from that webbie:

The Website of the British Legalise Cannabis Campaigns
So, completely unbiased source there then.....

And that is a major part of the problem: there is no unbiased source of information about illegal drugs - everyone is preaching either for or against.

M Did you read it????

It is a sensible page full of advice. Covers the usage and possible outcomes without going to histerics or just plain saying that the research done is wrong. Gives a balenced view.

If you read the website it is a mature and adult approach to Cannabis, it's pro's and cons.
About the most balenced I found. Whereas the government and other MD pages where all anti usage without consession.

You think so, even in your profession? Or is it that people declare findings and then these are instantly interpreted as for or against according to what they found? I've seen an awful lot of research - trouble is, too much. You then rely on literature reviews to summarise it. And it's like any other plant, almost impossible to standardise. Ask GW Pharmaceuticals, or the Dutch Medicinal Cannabis Office.

Much like anything if you do it in smal quantities I dare say the feeling of wellbeing and good nights sleep could be beneficial but heavy use is likely to have long term effects.

I'm a light social smoker and spend less than £25 a month. I've worked with people who smoked that in a day and had terrible mood swings, no memory of a conversations half an hour ago and were generally a nightmare to work with on account of no motivation. At the weekends they spend most of the time asleep or totally monged and spend most of thier cash on kit kats and doritos. Worryingly some who got a bit porky went on the speed diet and ended up as cabages.

Its easy to do something to excess when you find you like it, I did it with the drink myself but now see drink as more harmful to others than puff.

Its a great way to cope with some stress and if done occasionally is a nice way to unwind.

We just analyse the stuff - we don't give opinions on the pharmacological effects of it. But every web site I've ever seen either supports and campaigns for legalisation, or else is trying to stop people smoking it. I'm sure both sides are entirely convinced that they are telling the Truth, the Whole Truth and Nothing but the Truth, but since they disagree on almost everything then you have to assume both sides are playing fast and loose with the facts. And when both sides agree you can bet at least a fiver that they are both wrong...
