I'm not clued up on tax matters, i leave it all for the accountant but he gets the receipts for most things for the car including the petrol.

right ohh

put the car through its MOT today
nice mot tester already had my emissions before i even got to the test centre, thanks to the other customers corsa

passed on everything else, although he never really checked it tbh
think i will be needing a new wheel bearing soon (there is a smidge of free play)

BUT..... when i came back to the wash to check the free play out i managed to strip/thread a fackin wheel nut

any of the "locking wheel nuts crew" got a spare classic nut that they have removed? will give you a bag of crisps for your trouble lol

It's not happening all the time but enough to have me worried... Has anyone else heard of this? And can anyone recommend a scooby dealer in the NE that would be able to give my car the love and attention it deserves?

At lunch I spotted a nail right in the middle of the front offside tyre.... gutted, took it to " Walker's Tyre's " in team valley (turn into the retail world at the roundabout, first right first left) and asked if he could have a go at repairing it, 2 mins he had the nail out found it hadn't gone all the way through and had it back on the car, I tried to give him a tenner for his troubles as I now had my peace of mind, but he just wouldn't take it. What a gent and I can't recommend him enough, most places would be trying to flog me two front tyres!
have you changed the plugs yet!, if i use cheap plugs this happens, the plugs are about £40 quid like. may be somthing else but worth a check

Changed my coil packs yesterday and found it was suprisingly easy to do. Cheers to Alyn for them at a cracking price.
