Hey Guys (and Gals)

Have you all seen the thread for the rolling road day at Redline Racing on Saturday.

Some of you missed the last TTS RR day.

Anyone fancy a run down?

paul spoke to soon

after i posted that i went back to work, up the a19 from silverlink

as you leave the roundabout up the dual carrigeway it goes up a slightish hill

aproached 100 ish, came over the brow to see a white van with chevrons at the top of the rear doors in the layby, stamped on the brakes, checked the speed 70ish, spotted the blacked out rear windows etc etc, calmly drove towards it at a constant 70mph

not sure if it was speed or tax?
think it takes a second or so to get a "lock on" anyway, currently expecting points, so i will be happy if i dont

there was nobody in front of me for a while (so it apeared) so maybe he was not hunched over his sniper rifle sights and missed out LOL

I got stopped on the A66 last Wednesday coming back from the Cumbrian meet.

Copper said he struggled to catch me (not suprised though).

Nice man, told me to slow down and sent me on my way.

I hope you are as lucky as I was

Must be that Cherub face of yours, Martin LOL

Dont seem to think i'll be that lucky.

SCD Simon. Followed me from Kitty Brewster bridge, Blyth, most of the way home. Just assumed it was the typical biker from around here, out to prove Scoobys aren't that fast.

Alyn. You never mentioned unmarked bikes to me!!!

It's the 'boy racers' in the classics that give us 'newage' drivers a bad name

Tempting fate here, but.........

I've never even been pulled for so much as a spot check in the Scoob.

Maybe it's coz it''s a wagon and wagons are obviously have far more sensible drivers than saloons and coupes!!!

Maybe it's the "baby on board" sign in the back?
