Going back to bed shortly, in preperation for my first proper navigational rally. Starts around 10 tonight, finishes with breakfast around 6am tomorrow, if we make it that far.

Well did my trackday today at Elvington, well worth the money, unfortunatly didnt get the full day as the car gave up at lunchtime and i came home on a greenflag recovery truck......

Complete loss of power, Misfire, Engine check light.
And to top it all the recovery people smashed my STI splitter off getting it on the waggon...

Not a clue, was going great up until lunch break....
Elvington is a great circuit to learn the limits of you and your car without worrying about hitting anything...recomend it to anyone...

A lttle bit of bad news guys
SCD Simon had an accident yesterday while taking his daughter and her friends to Whitley Bay Ice Rink (not in his car though) which has resulted in a very badly broken leg both Tibia and Fibia broken He is in Rake Lane Hospital on Ward 4 Bay 3 and has been operated on this am I will let u all know later if everything has gone OK.I am sure he would appreciate your thoughts.He will be of his feet for at least 6 weeks.

Sorry to hear that. Give my best to Simon and wish him speedy recovery. Oh, and just to check as it's not clear from the above post - the break did occur in a car accident, and not on the rink once he was there???

Op ok he is now recovering,
Dxx Accident happened ehn he had left the ice and was going to take his boots off he slipped on a wet rubber mat with the skates on as Sticky Micky said Ouch
