sides painted
masking tape went awol while spraying passenger door and touched something it should not have, need to redo the passenger door
might have a day off and do it on sunday night, had to drive the car home with half of it still at the wash
never had time to put it back together properlly, i spent hours and hours masking it up, and over spray still managed to get underneath the masking paper
masking is an art

Mickey anything is an art in the bodywork line of the motor industry, I wouldnt have the bottle to try and paint my own car, hats off to you mate. Mind your right it is probably cheaper than a over expensive bodyshop ballsing it up.

TBH its not that hard, i am really suprised at how well the paint goes onto the car, i can only judge it against useing aerosols in the past, but its much, much easier.
it really is all in the prep, as long as there is plenty paint on, you can buff out most mistakes when finished
i still have around 2 litres left as well
best to have a go at things IMO, or you never know what you can do
i look at things and think "if he can do it, i can do it"

Don't know why I can still chop and change user name colours but I'm saying nothing for now. I'll leave it showing that I'm a scooby regular for a bit cos I got asked if I was a mod I'll wait a while before swapping it back.
