Sorry but i never got worked up about my cars, I couldn't give a rats **** what anyone thinks about them, I get them because I like them.

I have a beemer and a subaru, as far as i can tell whoever i talk to won't like at least one of them. I love them both for different reasons.

Jesus i'm bored with the "is the p1 better than" and the "i raced an M3" posts

What are the main differences between the P1 and the Type R?

I am not naming the product in question (although I do think it offers some validity) as I am not going to be associated with libellous comments chucked around on this board. DL
I'll back you up that the technology used was not 'authentic' Broquet. A intermediate brief write-up is in the 2nd issue of the new Subaru magazine of the actual product tested.

As I said in the PM David, I'm willing to put the Broquet in-tank system through the same tests if Broquet is willing to supply it to us. They've got nothing to lose if it does work and everything to gain

It is certainly something we will consider. We would like to know how you are testing and I look forward to seeing test reports mentioned. DL

P1 is best !!! because :

Im 23 and paying £1300 insurance on my P1, cheapest quote for a type-r was £3450. Go figure, but thats why i bought my P1 instead of a type r. Plus i paid about the same price as a good type-r and mines a few years newer with full Subaru history.

As for speed in a straight line, i ran a 13.5 @ santa pod with only a Ninja centre and back, 287bhp. Though i seen a few others that couldnt get under 14 ??!! Maybe i got a good'un ?

Both great cars IMO, insurance permitting lol
