A fully decatted STi V has got to be ~300 BHP at the flywheel realisticly, if running well and with good fuel in it. So you are only 10 BHP away from that - Id say you are at a solid 290 BHP. The rollers you went too are probably reading low for some reason, or maybe their way of calculating flywheel BHP from wheel BHP isnt accurate. At the end of the day, 10 BHP off a fully decatted STi V is superb, i'd be very happy with that - congrats !!!
Forgive my ignorance re. the number, I assumed you were in the UK. Here ours get a serial number in the front of the car. Mines #0715 - I think they are into the 800's now though. -=HERE=- is a picture of mine.
Here's a few video clips of how badly Evos suck LOL (hosted on my home computer so download speeds wont be good........)
FQ-300 vs STi with PPP
FQ-320 vs WR1
FQ-400

Not sure if im missunderstanding your post but im not taking the 'P' out of Evo's - I own one !!! - I was replying (sarcarsticly) to the post by old fart. Sorry if Ive missunderstood ?
Im loving my new 260 and Ive only done 400 miles in it - the ONLY thing I prefured in my old scooby was the noise - EVERYTHING else in the Evo is better (IMHO).

p.s. I ran out of 97 octane and could only fill up on 95 for the rolling road, added octane booster, but I wasnt happy with that.....i really would have prefared to have 97 in it.
Cant wait to get the full catless exhaust and ecu.....Then it will be kneck breaking stuff.........bring me back up to my old evo 6.....

Got a 260 myself, (#848) not had it on any rollers or anything yet but I ca't wait to get an exhaust, filter and ECU for it.
Have you plans for any particular ECU upgrade/flash? The WRX Tech stuff seems interesting (326BHP for 1700 quid ontop of the low '260' purchase price is pretty good for the power). Ralliart also developing one as well, or so I've seen on a few forums.
I'm holding out until January to see what comes from Ralliart and then it will be full steam ahead with some mod's.
I've run a MY02 WRX before (PPP was the only performance mod) and wow, how well does the evo turn in compared to it....fantastic.
