Thumbs up

great day out shame about the split up though (i don't think the pub would of managed anyway lol1: let alone the carpark)

everyone had dissapeared after we left the pub so me and CW made our own way back to Derby, only took 2 and half hours

Nice pic flat4, thought you were following us to the red lion.

Well it looks as though i've well and truly started something here, so anyone fancy meeting up at maybe the Donkey Derby on Sheffield Rd or the Lock Keeper near Tescos one night. We can meet up have a chat about the next "big one" as any help with organisation will be most welcome.

All I keep thinking about is pubs with big car parks, might have to go and vet some at the weekend.

Aaaahhhh the joys of scooby ownership.

Thanks for a great day guys. Even the wife really enjoyed it..she was shouting at me all the way out.."GO FASTER....OVERTAKE....OVERTAKE!!" She is usually telling me to slow down and take it easy with the kids in the car!!! Like many have said it was a shame we all got split up, but hey we will all know better next time.
Thanks again...all at Team Kosoku

Cheesy - now in deep discussion with daft lad throwing some ideas about. was wanting to try and meet on a sunday evening as karl will be able to come. As hes a lorry driver its a bit hard to predict when hes going to be home during the week.

So come on chessie scoobies are you up for a local pub meet one evening in the next fortnight. Let me know which days you will be available and i'll start things rolling from there.

Weekdays are no good to me either as I work shifts.
On a slightly different matter I was thinking of putting together a local mag/fanzine for scooby owners. Either just for Chesterfield or for the Midlands. I know most people can find all the info they need now a days on t'internet but it's some times nice to have something to read on the toilet or in a lay-by. I'd like to put in plenty of pics of cars and their owners so we can put some names to faces and cars, also product reviews, event reviews, etc..does anyone thinks this is of any interest? Please throw me some comments. If I get some replies I will start a new thread somewhere.
Cheers...all at team kosoku.....(Brian, Catherine, Kai and Poppy)

I would be up for any chesterfield scooby meet. Both the Winsick arms an the trading post have big carparks so they would be ideal.

Me and ScoobyDee2 have been talking along similar lines to this, theres already a club for midlands scoobs so why not set up a more localised one, say just for Chesterfield and the immediate surrounding area? We're both doing a bit of research into the idea, how many of you would be interested if this got up and running?

Afternoon James, see you're one step ahead of me today.

Adam - it was brilliant, better than I ever expected for my first attempt at organising one.

Ok thinking along the lines of mini meet on Sunday 30th Jan to get the ball rolling, thinking around 7pm at Donkey Derby on Sheffield Road ( decent car park with cctv ). Just have to make sure I can get a babysitter before putting an official post up. This could turn into something big as it looks as though the s/yorks scoobies want to join in.

So watch this space.

Yes that was me with the vid cam, but my battery is playing up and i didn't get too much footage.
As for the mag idea I thought it would be good to get one out just after the next red lion meet so there is a big article there on its own. Ive robbed all the photos from the meet on sunday and if everyone is ok with it, we can use them for the mag.
I will start a new thread later in the midlands events. (while the wife is watching eastenders) So please throw some ideas in. Later.....Team kosoku

P.S. With a bit of luck it shouldn't look too shabby as my wife is a graphic designer and i'm a printer!!!
