Then through to Rowsley and up that steep and twisty section on to the Red Lion. Excellent drive but one or two startled hikers and bikers! . I had to disappear not long after getting to the Red Lion though.

Anyway I'll post a couple of pics up on the members gallery thread that Daft Lad has started, but Deano555 must have some cracking pics - did you see the size of his piece (camera I mean) I think he must be compensating for something!!!!!!!

See you all soon.

Max

PS still struggling to put faces to scoobynet names!!

Cheesy was thinking along those lines, meet up for a few drinks or maybe a ten pin bowling night or something, will get my thinking cap on again.

Glad everyone enjoyed it so much, cant believe how nervous i was this morning, then to see all those cars turn up, fantastic.

Was so excited forgot to get my camera out untill we got to the red lion, but i see we already have some great pics posted up.

So whos interested in a convoy down to the midlands mega meet next month.

Already done that, me and the toast mobile were in constant communication.

He knew where I was but you are right, on runs I have been on before when everyone is on the same channel its very good. Only problem is if you are on your own like I was today. Its hard to use it and drive properly.

Pricewise I spent around 90quid for two motorola handsets and a dual charger from my mate who deals in that sort of things. He told me to avoid the ones you see in the shops and get them from him or a specialist like him.

Cheesy has a set to IIRC.

You are absolutely right I have seen a paper which discusses it, just as you can text on your phone *if* the phone is in a cradle.

Fooking mad but perfectly legal.

Soz chewy, was being told by ubik over the radios to go one way, then bloody daft lad the 2nd sat next to me reading directions telling me to go t'other...
So anyway besides the midlands meet next month lets have another chesterfield one sometime? Anyone else up for meeting under similar circumstances once a month or even once a fortnight...any suggestions? Personally I like Cheesys thinking of getting some sort of club underway!

That we were! Maybe actually communicating more about where we should've been going is something for me to consider next time?
Comedy gold it was, every scoob should have one, certainly passes the time when you're all stuck behind beemers and honda CRV's!
