got home a bit back, where did everyone get to. i was in the group with the bug eye world ralley rep.
enjoyed the drive. think that guy in grindleford in the big dumper lorry wasa bit pisse off with us.......

Yep the guy in the truck didnt look very happy matey,after yous lot and the two small cars went through he blocked the road off in mid turn so i ended up in a group of me and erh! oh yes, me!
headed back to the cinema as said on directions for finish but no-one came
apart from a couple of coppers having a nosey at ma scoob!

What can I say, what a fantastic turn out. I honestly didnt expect that many of you to turn up.
Its just a pity we all got split up, one half ended up in the right place, the millstones and the other half ended up at the red lion but we managed to meet up eventually.
Tidgy - next time make sure you run those ramblers over, takin up all the car parking spaces at the millstones.
Well I hope you all enjoyed the drive anyway, wherever you ended up.

Dee how about a meet in the summer at Clumber park, loads of space and we could all bring throw away barbi's, leave the ladies to cook while we polish the fly's of the scoobs, only joking, good turn out today we ended up at red lion, funny thing was the lady in the bar said we wer'nt expected till next month ref the midlands mega meet. Shame the car park was full at hathersage but still enjoyed it.
P.s. you will have to organise the next meet, it needs a womans touch !!!!

Next time how about we meet up as this morning (think i counted about 30 !!) then have a run again as this morning but carry on through Hope, Castleton, up the pass then down into Edale. That car park in the bottom is big enough for us all. Trouble is on a Sunday all the "walkers" (walk from the car to the pub and back, dressed in all the wet weather gear 
) are out in force and finding a decent pub car park to get us all in is always going to be difficult

Haha there was a bit of abuse flying around from some of the people we passed, have to laugh dont you! I had a volvo estate trying to kill me at one point too Nemind eh.
As Chrissy says tis a shame some of us got split up, still it was a fantastic day hopefully the first of many chesterfield meets, and hats off to Adele and Karl for sorting the whole thing! Brilliant work guys

Enjoyed the day and drive despite getting split up. I was in the first group that drove past the first venue in Hathersage 'coz it was rammed and no way would you squeeze 26 scoobs in there. Great drive down through Grindleford, Calver and in to Bakewell - did you all see that group of 5 or 6 lads at the roundabout, they nearly wet themselves with excitment (especially when that rather reserved looking scoobchrissy trundled past ). Then through to Rowsley and up that steep and twisty section on to the Red Lion. Excellent drive but one or two startled hikers and bikers! 
. I had to disappear not long after getting to the Red Lion though.
Anyway I'll post a couple of pics up on the members gallery thread that Daft Lad has started, but Deano555 must have some cracking pics - did you see the size of his piece (camera I mean) I think he must be compensating for something!!!!!!!
