ooh just noticed a possible hitch with this meet! its on the same weekend as the international motorsport show at the NEC. have 2 try and go on friday instead.

Well just over a week to go, hope most of you can still make it.
Tidgy - so sorry to hear about the car, you must be gutted, hope to see you in a scoob soon.

As far as where we are going, I have never been but it looks very straight forward on the map. Even I should have no problem finding it.
After that we are in Adele's hands as Karl will be driving a route over to Foxhouse which should be good.

mmmm i only have so many hands!!!!!
Hows this for a good deal, i get to spend 3 hours cleaning the car ( want it to look good for ubiks overworked camera ) and karl gets to do all the driving, somethin wrong there.
Anyways thinking of doing some maps up of the route incase anyone gets lost.

well...(Ubik don't laugh ) the doughnut car park is right in the town centre opposite Comet...although every so often they have a car boot in there on sundays... either there if the car boot isnt on or failing that the only place that'll be quiet enough to wait around in I can think of is the cineworld car park, if you can get onto the A61 (derby road) when u get into chesterfield you cant miss that...its a big leisure complex with a Frankie & Bennys restaurant, a Maccy D's, a pub and the cinema. Am just looking for a map now to post up

Right chrissy...finding it v.v.v.v.v.v.v. hard to find a site that can give a decent map of chesterfield! Basically if you just stay on the A61 as you come off the dronfield bypass (Presuming you're coming that way and not down the M1) stay on the dual carriageways, straight on past tescos and straight over the large roundabout you will come to, then there will be a set of traffic lights outside the cinema complex...you'll see the McDonalds before you reach the lights, turn left into there and right at the mini roundabout and look for the white classic with STi6 rear spoiler Hopefully that makes sense I can be ****e with directions at times
