Which turbo?
Ah yes my collegue has had a play with that rolling road for a day and apparently it needs something resetting after every run otherwise it adds a couple of figures together and gives ludicrous results. The car that was being mapped on there at the time gave 410 BHP at 10 psi on the first run
astounding for a 1.8 turbo civic running a relatively small turbo... lol After grabbing the owner he explained that it needs resetting after each run other wise some two figures get added together.
doesnt sound like an ideal set-up?
Edited to add: On the coast down run you apparently could gain or lose upto 60hp depending how hard you came off the throttle

Jonny,
I was at the RR Day that Alan organised. We were both so dismayed at the ridiculous figures quoted that both Alan and myself tried to get into Well Lane that afternoon. Unfortunately, we couldn't.
The figures quoted were approx 50bhp more than they should have been and to make things worse, the cars wern't tied down on the roller. It was reasuring that two blokes sat on the bonnet of the car
LOL
Even sadder was that some of the participant on the day didn't realise the figures were cr@p and are now disappointed that they can't match them on other rollers having caried out further mods.
Cheers
Martin
