No thats the great thing they don't! Funny cos sometimes it doesnt work and I feel like knocking and their door and saying 'Can you reset your router please so I can get back on the internet!'

Also I'm surprised by how many unsecured Bluetooth devices there are on our street. Many's the time I've come to transfer pics from my phone to PC and accidentally hacked into next door's Bluetooth phone !!

£25 foor 750k with NTL all though they are roumered to be going for a three tier system and £25 will be 2 meg.
I run a secure wireless lan but can pick up two more unsecure networks when I'm upstairs.

Around £35 per month IIRC for NTL's 1.5 Meg service. Unlimited, and great service. Waiting for the 2 Mb one to come on stream...

PlusNet 2Mb ADSL, £22.99/month minus a bit for referrals. This has 2GB free, then 2.10 for each Gig over. Suits me, need speed but not necessarily lots of data.

I'm using Rogers Hi-Speed Internet Express (not the fastest they do, but next one down).
Current offer is $24.95 a month for 3 months, usual rate is $45 per month. So in 'old money' that's currently £19.18 a month.
That's for (have a look at the clicky for full details) 3.0Mbps (download) / 384 Kbps, plus other stuff. Not too bad if you ask me.

like Tony work in Telecoms. quite often get over 200kbps download speeds.
p.s Tony who do you work for, ive seen a couple of scoobs around our offices but nevre known if they are internal customers ect. p.m if you dont want it known publicly

£37.99 for 1.5meg with NTL. Interstingly I phoned them the other day about the new 3 meg service that they are supposed to be rolling out in the new year. i was told it has been delayed while "we assess the market" bearing in mind Telewest now offer a 4 meg service for £50 per month. Wonder what NTL will offer?

NTL 750K @£24.99. Just to give you an idea of how services will develop though - Free (ISP in France) has just launch their ADSL 2 service that offers a theoretical 15Mbs line speed (normally closer to 8Mbs - but still quick) with 1Mbs upload for 30 Euros a month!
