Max,

That was my exact route that night, the roads were not that bad but I didn't push it.

Right, today for reasons I won't get into I had to go over to Manchester, obviously lots of traffic on the way over so not an enjoyable drive.

I was very stressed out and needed to let go. So on the way back thats just what I did, I really pushed it.

The further I drove the car the more I could find how far I could push it round corners. Ninety degree corners that were quite tight I was able to cut on the inside of other cars and overtake them.

Now the roads are almost dry the difference is amazing. I did get it sliding at times but it was a much higher speeds than before.

The changes really are fantastic. Certainly helped me forget my troubles (well slightly) for a bit.

Just want to make the point: that is not how I drive normally!

Once again very pleased with how the car is setup now. My only problem is rattles, ten times worse than before.

You slowed down for this run then?

Glad you like the new additions - now if only I had that amount of spare dough about......

I know the difference between the classic with and without the handling upgrade. It makes a massive difference. But this is in a different league all together.

IIRC they tried to fit it to Bruce's classic but it sat too high. You would have to ask what they did instead. I think he went for some new STI shocks & springs. Very hard compared to what it was before.

Chrissy...been on a very hard drive this morning.

One of those nothing below 5k kind of drives, got up at 04:50 and was pelting down the lanes at a fair old speed.

Stuck to the road like it was on rails. Only slipped twice

once due to ice (nothing will save you from that anyway)

once due to carrying too much speed into the corner (poor driving & judgement)

Other than that nothing. Everyone else was having a little bit of a sliding session. Believe me mate you will notice the difference. If you have what I have.....jesus! With the kind of power you have your car will be amazing (already is but you know what I mean!!!)

That was the first time TBH. Its my mate Richard that knows the roads down there. I just kept glued to him (safe distance back) but wow!

And wow again!

Double wow!

Worth the money. Never been able to push it so hard! ( the car )

Just going to PM Adam incase he has missed this;

Adz,

I promised I would get back to you on the handling kit, fantastic. Cast your eyes over this

Had a full sunday of death defying driving. TBH if it wasnt for that suspension it would have been curtains a couple of times. (Early morning run with no traffic on the road but the odd bit of ice). Talk to Marv or Dazza about that morning.

The car is exactly how I want it handling wise. Short of buying a new STI with the DCCD and having all this done *again* I am stumped to better it.

<prods Adz in the ribs>

That spoiler you quoted me, brake light inc???

See you in Febuary!

Cheers
David

PS: Guess who is doing the SWRT packaging at the moment????

It is great isn't it matey!

Got a rattle like something is loose when I go over bumps on mine but the handling still feels the same. If I can't find the problem this weekend I will nip it back down the guys let them sort it.

Roundabouts are now seriously good fun. If we do another belt round Leicster I will give you a buzz mate.

Great roads!
