excellent.....should be able to scrape that together....
feeling the january pinch, told the missus this needs to be done to see if the car is running ok and using to much fuel.....

bit nervous about the whole thing to be honest, is there anything i should do to the car before the event......obviously check oil and stuff....but anything else....

I wouldn't worry too much jamie, I've been to a few rr's now, and never yet seen a car go pop! Still, there's always a first time
Like you say, check your levels, make sure your cars nice and warm before your run, and bring a warm coat and hat, it gets very cold stood around watching cars on the rr.
Might be a good idea to take it out for a serious thrash before you go on too, make sure nothing is wrong on the road, before you go on the rollers.

Make sure your tyres are inflated to the correct presssures too.
Under inflated tyres add drag.

Mine been under covers in the garage for ages, just started it up every now and then
think i've done about 20 miles in 4 months!!!!!!!!!!!!! should get it running proper for the day
no need to clean it, it's been immaculate, nice and warm under a cover
