Never really liked Counterstrike. I only got into it recently with Condition Zero but just found it infuriating.

I agree that it is MUCH more tactical than say Call of Duty or BF1942 but EVERYONE seems like an expert and EVERYONE gets really tetchy with newbies.

There was one map where I managed to last more than 2 minutes and hid round a corner, shot the first opponent I saw and he got real mad with me. I mean isn't that the point!

 

I've just picked up the cross bow, and have sniped them soldiers.

All I got to do now is work out how to turn that shield off so I can get through!!

Seriously, Half Life is well know to work on very low spec machines if you make sure you turn down the in game settings and I think Half Life 2 is also the same in that respect so I would guess it would run but it wouldn't be pretty.
