If only I could join in 
When I used to play my mates at F1 on the PS1 I was the only one that could do a lap without loosing a wing or wheel, on top level with full rules, flags, failures and damage. Could win a 16 lap Monaco (hence tricky) race by 4 laps 
and if I did the full distance in places like Canada and Brazil, once I was 15-20 laps ahead of the whole field I used to punt people off to let my team mate through for a 1-2 podium 
Once went for it big style in Canada and won by 37 laps 
Completed a full season with 16/16 wins, beat that you German tw@t 
Might have to beg/borrow/steal a PC [shudders] to join in

Dave. This is a tough little bugger. Especially through the keyboard. Much better on a PS pad, which I'm not sure it accepts anyway.
If it does, I may have to buy a USB gamepad.
Anyone else with some other times?

High 1:40's with the keyboard & the GTI. Been racing on a few servers too, and not doing too shabily..
Now to plug in Sticky's secret weapon
Just got to get it off my Lad, that's all...
BTW guys... anyone got a server up? If not.. name a server here and we'll hijack it..

Al, if you're using the PS2 logitech force feedback, you could do worse than to go to here http://www.logitech.co.uk/index.cfm/...contentid=5307
and download the latest PC driver (same wheel as PS2)
Run the calibration, then make sure it's done in the game too (took me ages to fathom out!!)
Start driving, press esc, select 'control' and turn left / right a few times, press both pedals down a couple of times, and bingo!
Now get the RX7 lookalikey motor, and practice drifting round corners.
I'll be back on at about 11pm for an hour or two. Maybe have a little challenge then
and download the latest PC driver (same wheel as PS2)

Consistently knocking out 1:42 / 1:43 with the FWd AX GT lookalikey
Couldn't find either hosts though
