POINT FOR DISCUSSION
There's a proposed XMAS BIG ONE being discussed HERE with a possible date of the 18th. How would everyone feel about attending this after the karting I think it would make for a cracking pre-xmas Scooby day providing the karting is scheduled for early/mid afternoon.

Jason - what time are you suggesting for the karting? So we can schedule 'events' around beating the WR1 lads....

Harry Boy, post 25
Karting- 5.30 18th December.
The track is ours!!
The "amenities" are pretty limited but there is a bowling alley and a bar next door!
We now have another choice to make....
1. Endurance racing? 7 teams of 3 battle it out for 2 hours.
or
2. Grand Prix racing? Indidvidual racing where talent shows!!
The price is the roughly the same.
I have paid the deposit so if anybody doesn't want to take part please let me know so I can re-allocate the place.
Feedback please.

Thanks for the pic sticky.
Looks better than what i alsways think it does, if that makes sense?
Any chance of bringing the rally drive footage to the next WYIOC meeting so i can have a scan.

Cheers Andy.
I quite liked the prodigy music you used with the first rally drive cd (think it was prodigy - fireststarter)
Failing that that maybe a bit of 5ive/queen - we will rock you !!!
(sorry AL couldnt resist) Stick to the prodigy.

Right, let's get organised. If everyone agrees, may I suggest the WYIOC fraternity meet at the Trading Post with the following schedule....
Meet 4 - 4.15pm at Trading Post
Depart 4.30pm
Arrive karting 5pm (not allowing for events similar to last time )
Race 5.30pm
Return to TP for post race banter
Sensible I will also do a "run-in" from the Brickworks leaving at 3.45pm, although timing's getting tight due to Helens work.
IMPORTANT QUESTION
Which of the WYIOC ladies will be joining us ? Helen is not racing and doesn't fancy being stood about all night without any girlies to giggle with, so who's coming, and who's not racing ? As an idea, Helen suggested maybe any non-racing girlies could stay back at the TP and await the post race regroup, and get well and truly slaughtered in the process

'tis a shame, as she can be irritatingly quick. 6HP and 6 stone weight advantage on a tight twisty circuit like Smelby adds up to v.quick lap times. Last time she karted indoors though, the fumes played havoc with her breathing for days after. We'll have to do the Iron Man up at Gateshead. 1 1/4 mile outdoor in twin engined 70mph karts

The guy gets a FREE jetwash for his bike, and still has to have a go.
Not to mention the can of Bud, tea, coffee, egg sarnies, wheels wash, play on me wheel ...

Not long to go!
I'll PM everyone on the list with info and where to send the deposit. I've paid it already so I need to get it back and confirm attendees. There are a couple of extra places as some have dropped out.
