I have my frosted MY98 lights anyway Mark, cheers.

I'm struggling to figure out what F/S (For Sale??) means - must be late. If you mean the cast ones in the picture on page 9 then yes they are and they were done by Pavlo, not by my grubby mitts. Do you want me to bring them along on Tuesday if i decide to go for tubulars before then?

I like the sound of that.....

Carl - That should be a good enough reason why to buy the headers

Ian, just been out and bought 6 bath and 6 hand towels. The race is on to get the car done before the house takes over.

Bryan, you're about to have email mate. They've gotten back in touch with me.

Andy, if i'm not in the club on the 12th the car will be going and i will have one very swanky house.

Carl, do you have 550cc injectors in your car?

If so, what Fuel pressure did you set the car to before Andy did the Apexi?

Graham.

Graham, Carl has 440cc injectors not 550's. If you set the FPR to about 2 bar that will get you to andy ok. He will then turn it up to about 3.5bar for mapping.

Thanks Stuart.
I had the FPR set @ 2 bar without the engine running, and that gave 4 bar with engine running.
Backed it all off to 2 bar with engine running.

Thanks again, sorry Carl to choke your Thread.

PMSL Russ. It will be a sorry day for the Scooby if i ever join that club.

Well remembered Stuart. Considered chucking the 550's i have lying here in but don't think they'll really benefit me. On another fuelling note, i have an in-car fuel pressure gauge on its way (call it FSE paranioa ), along with two others... anyone want to buy my Defis?

New ones are Fuel/Boost/Oil Pressure. Current (soon to be for sale) ones are Boost/Oil Pressure + Water Temp.

Ultra-expensive wrap. If 45 metres isn't enough to do headers/up-pipe/downpipe and possibly turbo hotside i will be disappointed.

The reason why i have done naff-all to the car lately...

Took the best part of a day to cut 64 spacers. <looks around for suicide smilie>

Wink I said i was on a budget...

Back from another trip and some new pressies waiting for me. Megan Racing headers...

For £175 delivered they can disintegrate after 1000 miles for all i care.

40mm inlet ports.

52.4mm (2 1/16") up-pipe. Exhaust flanges aren't bad but the up-pipe flange leaves a nasty step so will have to work it out a little.

Also got the sundries required for my new gauges. Just need the gauges now.

Very nice Carl . So really the up-pipe isn't that big, just slighty bigger than my old H+S (2").

Hmmm, now is it these or for another £185 OBX... think these win

Tony.

Headers look good!
Nice there isn't a joint (to blow) at the up pipe/headers.
There isn't a slip joint anywhere!

Have fun with the wrapping

No, I am saying that I sent Andy (Peanuts) a 12x1.25mm bolt to use as an blanking plug in his uppipe not his headers.

Andrew...

Sorry Carl to butt in here but Tony is being kinda inappropriate. OBX are a totally different header. If you want equal length for the torque and power gains then you won't find much cheaper than OBX. Go look at ANY other brand of equal length headers and i bet you don't see any cheaper or better.

Carl your headers look ace for unequal length btw...quality is as good as my gruppe-s ones.

Excuse me, but how am i being inappropriate? I was making a statement of my feelings, nothing inappropriate about that. *I* don't think i will be spending the extra on OBX becuase *I* feel that i can gain the same amout of torque and power from the unequal length variety while retaining the Subaru burble and saving a lot of pennies.

If you would like to e-mail me exactly how this is inappropraite i would be very interested to hear

Tony.
