What a great thread 
I miss those old days, and there has been many a time when I've wished I never took over scoobynet as it does spoil the enjoyment of it.
I'll remember the trips to Brunters, the meets, hanging out with the gang, the days of the world record attempt, etc as some of the best of my life.
I've met some great people, and consider myself lucky to have stumbled across this site and the people that frequent it

I havnt seen Banshi since Catalunya last year.Yeah, I remember that day, charity would have benefitted more if I had just sent a cheque doubling the amount raised, (and it would have been cheaper for me as well).
The Scooby Mania 'demonstrator' consumed a set of AP 6 pot Pagids, about 4 tanks of petrol, [1] octane booster in equal proportions, 4 tyres, the entrance fee for the event and a windscreen repair (from where a TVR had an off and chucked a stone up at me near craner).
What a great day though myself and Simon drove from the point the track opened until the flag dropped for the last lap..... I even ran laps during the lunch break!
[1] I think someone calculated the on track average MPG at about 6mpg.

Got my MY99 in Dec '99, lurked on 'ere Nov/Dec '99 and joined in Jan 2000
I remember the C-I-N track day, one of the best i ever went to, had a ride around with Mike in his RA (i think) and SDB took my better half out in soemones car, might have been Mikes car again. There was a great atmosphere and buzz around that track day Lot of enthusiasts and petrol-heads and not any egos in sight.
Oh yes and Stef in CK had a gentle 'off 'with Jenny on board as well much to her amusement!
That was a good day i have very fond memories of. Met a lot of friendly people and made a few friends to boot.

£5 vouchers, don't remind me. Getting SIDC to agree to that was like getting blood from a stone, as for them honoring it, don't ask.
Oh and I recall asking if anyone would want to come the following year and someone jumping all over me, saying "how dare you steal an SIDC event" hmm, interesting.

Oi Chrispy! Long time!
This forum will never get as good as the first year I had my scoob (-00), but the best thing out of it is a few really good friends - some of which I've met and some that I haven't.
Best night out was with Tuckshop in Nottingham - I deffo need to do that sort of trip again (Maddie is nagging me to death about Alton Towers)...oh, almost forgot the Turnip chase all over the UK...and the Girona Swedish meatball BBQ.
...oh...I've actually seen Adams 22 run...

Hi J long time no chat, good to see some of the old school about. I have two claims to fame, I came up with the user name Little Miss WRX and I also have a picture of some of the old school in the pub Mr Tuckwood, ChrisB, Stef and a bloke named err...... Simon De Banke. I guess the muppets would pay well if I posted that one.

Cars done nearly 12K but it has been tweaked to 320bhp now . Would be a shame to sell it.
