I was a mere JamesH in those days - its where Puff The Magic Wagon! came from
CraigH & Stef plus another chap called Stef in a 22B import who as far as I know has never been on the bbs before or since.
Up against Mike R's motley crew Whupped ***
Mike - got the link to the write-ups we all did still?

Well i'm still here - coming up for 5 years now, and still haven't owned a Scoob yet
Banshi is still about - got an email from him last week, he's just busy with other stuff I think.
Scoobynet has changed, but I still enjoy it on here and will coninue to do so, probably forever now

I've been here for ages too. Since early 2000. Organising the first Midlands meets at Braunston, and helping organise the first Ring trip with JF, Harj, Stef etc. Had the sweetest STI5 Type R about, before they became too popular. Remember the good ole days.

How old do you have to be to be "Old Skool"? I'm sure I qualify, even though I'm not high profile like some of the names mentioned.
Mike R was the one who pointed me in this direction when I became an eXRS owner!

Once a tosser, always a tosser. Utterly foolish comment. And the thread was going so well till then. Get over yourself, for Christ's sake.

I remember Adam M when he had a car that didn't sit in the garage having untold amounts of work carried out on it!!
That was a nice silver WRX, although it did have a 'ricey' sticker on the back!
I actually registered on the 12th April 1999, although it got changed to the 4th Decemember 1999 in one of the numerous software changes where it got confused between US and UK dates!

It's amazing how well all the "old skool" (Jesus, I hate that term) posters get on, isn't it. Almost like they're best mates. Craig and John, Tel and Markus, happy couples all.

Why do all these threads degenerate into slanging matches? lol

PS £5 vouchers - rings a bell!
PSS Maybe the old skool should have another Karting event at Rye or Daytona - that'll sort the men from the boys!
