It is not a difficult DIY job. Just allow yourself plenty time, think ahead and have everything to hand you can possibly think of and the job should not present any real problem. The biggest consideration is what to do with the induction especially if you are still on the OE panel filter. A VTA dump valve makes it very easy but for me a recirc is preferable and on some cars the OE DV can be reused or a flange and spiggot is needed to convert the DVs which fit to the top mount by a flange.
If anybody wants to come to Darlington for a fitting it can be arranged.

The delivery is now in the UK so I expect it here Wednesday latest. I will confirm everything is complete because there have been problems with odd items missing in the past. All being well I will e-mail individuals Wednesday evening for final payment with next day delivery available from receipt of cleared funds.

I have collected the intercooler kits, which are in component parts in a large packing case to reduce freight charges. Tomorrow I will check everything is there because so far I cannot see any screws or brackets.
I will post on here early tomorrow evening and providing everything is accounted for I will notify everybody individually for the balance payments.

OK Guys : You should all have e-mails bringing you up to speed.
There are two flat steel brackets in each kit and these have been missed out. No big deal as it is simply a flat piece of steel with a hole at either end. I have two sets of brackets here and two kits are boxed and ready to go.
We made savings on freight charges and the all in delivered price, customs paid etc. is £558.
Anyone not receiving a private e-mail with final details please e-mail me immediately.
Regards,
Harvey.

Sami : You can reuse your OE dump valve if it fits into the pipe work but if it is one of these that sits on the top mount intercooler with a flange you will need a flange adaptor.
If you are going for an aftermarket dump valve the easiest to fit are the vent to atmosphere because you do not have to plumb the recirculating air back into the inlet tract somewhere after the MAF. However my advice would be to go with a recirc if you can stand the hassle of plumbing it in.
There should be absolutely no problem with a BOV providing it is matched to the boost level you are running. For instance Forge BOVs with which I am familiar can come with one of four different springs so you need to state the boost level you are running if you are buying a new BOV. If you get a second hand one it might be a bit hit and miss.

Sami: Not only have I got your funds, your kit is shipped.
Did you not got my last mail?
Steven : I guess it is intended to use as a blank to block off holes left in the inlet tract.

If you want one just add £45 to the payment.
The purpose of a catch tank is to take the vent pipes, one from each cam cover and one from the crankcase to the catch tank, whereas at present they vent back in to the inlet tract.
The idea is that if you have a big slug of oil contaminated air coming from the inards of your engine going back through your combustion chambers, while you are on WOT, then momentarily the combustability of the charge is adversely affected and at worst could lead to det. Now you could vent these three pipes to atmosphere but if you are involved in motorsport and have an engine mishap you will drop a lot of oil on the track. This is considered to be a bad thing.
The catch tanks are chrome plated and look very pretty.
Send me your phone number if you want to talk it through further or if you actually decide to go ahead with a catch tank and need some guidance as to what is required.
