Andy F - Achieved 291 bhp with over 280lb torque (IIRC??). Ok so the bhp was down from the last pre mapped run, even with the filter and different exhaust (previously 297 bhp) but torque was increased by over 30lb.
I'm hoping to go and see Rich in the next few weeks concerning some boosting issues which had me scratching my head and which had an evident effect on my final bhp figures. The sti 8 intercooler along with the fuel pressure regulator that you advised may be the next additions so will no doubt be in touch. I will say though the mid range punch is still addictive and the RR figures do not compare to the cars on road ability.
All in all still very happy.
Regards
Rob

Maybe you should let the Apexi ECU control the boost ? It is very consistant on the road and also seemed to work ok on the rollers for Neil (Vulnax999) his spec is not too much more than yours (headers) yet the power was considerably higher.

On Rob's car the warning level on the boost controller was set too low and when the preset boost exceeds this level, which it was doing, it knocks the boost level back significantly to OEM levels.
On the graph, the torque climbs beautifully and agressively to 280 odd lbsft by 4000 rpm (which explains your good midrange grunt) but then drops dramatically due to the boost controller reigning things in, so at 6000 rpm, torque is some 40lbsft down which has an obvious consequence on bhp. If torque was maintained at near enough peak level, instead of tailing off like it does, bhp @ 6000 would be nearer 330, which is what I would have expected.
Re the results, I'm afraid you are gonna all have to go out and buy Scooby magazine when it comes out to see the full listings and figures.

How much boost control was down to the PFC, I was on an external Electronic Boost control, although it does seem to control well.
A question - If I changed to the apexi boost control kit and plugged it into the PFC where would I set the boost duty cycles on the PFC, or is that already set / need your setting up?
Cheers

Ah, I forgot you had that boost controller ! The only problem with that is that on your year of car it's running blind ie it is operating above the oe map sensor threshhold and will be subject to seasonal changes.
I can monitor the actual duty used to maintain boost on the laptop and set the start duty accordingly, you can however find the ideal setting by trial and error yourself, I can talk you through this if you like.
cheers

For the record can I just add that contrary to popular belief, my car is NOT pink in any way shape or form.
{"Jogger's nipple" red or "haemorrhoid" red perhaps, but not PINK }
I thank you......................
