The pedal on the right makes the Scooby in the rear view mirror get smaller.

Don't use the one on the left too much though, 'cos it's expensive.

Still trying to figure the middle one out.

The ACD button alters how much ar$e end you want hanging out on roundabouts. Lots (tarmac), a bit (gravel), none (snow)

Dunno about the alarm, mine's only got two buttons, and I only know what one of them does

Fancy acronyms and expensive bits... That car in the rear view mirror didn't need them racking up 43 WRC wins compared to 26, eh?

Couldn't resist. But you are putting up a reasonable fight. Shame it's all for nothing..

Personally I prefer the Mini with the jacuzzi. And optional 'assistant'...

I think we all would Phil mate, depending on the nature of said 'assistance'...

Anyway, why aren't you out & about, depleting ozone and Optimax in equal proportions??

well, I never thought I'd say this after owning my impreza for 15 months, but I cant understand why I waited so long to get an Evo.

I know I only had a WRX, but it was putting out approx 290 bhp, the difference is emmence (sp?)

The response from the steering wheel can only be described as being like a go cart, I do miss the punch in the back from the scooby as the evo seems to be more progressive on boost. You dont realise how fast youre actually accelerating unless you look at the "180 mph" speedo.

Driving the scoob on everyday trips out still felt special, whereas the Evo feels a bit like a big sofa ,until you catch a glimpse of yourself in a shop window and remember what your driving.

The sound of the Evo dosnt compare to the scoob, but on the plus side I now know what its like to listen to a cd in the car again.

All IMHO, both great cars, but I'm glad I made the choice I did

Might be a different story after I have to start serviceing it every 4 months

Ssssshhhhhhhhhhh!

Don't tell everyone. Let's just keep it to ourselves, otherwise they'll know why we're laughing at 'em

Glad you're happy with it. Don't think I'mm gonna be able to make Sunday's run now, but should be okay for B;ackpool on Saturday if you fancy it!

Saturday is better for me , Sunday is a bit hit & miss at the moment.

After having a good look over the car today I think I'll let you keep your leather cos I'm sure theres some bits you'll want to nick off mine (ralliart mats chromed pipework etc)

sorry fella, but you know how it feels when you get a new toy.

hope its not raining on Sat, would hate to get it wet

Suspect you've not seen under my bonnet...

Mats would come in handy though, as mine are cheap shoite from the local car shop.

Need tyres for Saturday, so I'm not 100% sure yet. Do you fancy a full day, or just the drive / meet / lights in the evening?

...and where's the blooody pics?

Thoughts of having to pull into every service area and wait for 'em are, frankly, boring.

Nope, it's just an evo thing at the mo. But if enough WYI(&E)OC'ers wanna go then I'm up for it. (had a great time a couple of weeks ago with Steve, Mick & families in the pleasure beach, but it went downhill when we tried getting to the lights!)

Late after's or early evening would suit me best too.

...goes away to check on MLR...

...back, meeting at a pub on B'pool at 7:00 for a 7:15 trip through the lights (blooody miserable gits, the Scooby meeting was a full hour and a half of chatting before heading off!!) I'll PM you my PM from the MLR with details. Wouldn't mind getting there about 5ish, for a ride on the Big One first (her name's Bertha, and she's carries a till with her in case she meets anyone she knows )

PM on it's way...

I know what the E and F are, ...oh, Supra.

*realisation dawning during the post there, folks*

Any 'inferior' owners up for B'pool on Sat?

We'll wait for you, honest.

(Dunno about you lot, but I'm getting bored with this )

Yup, and I replied to the second one, thanking you for both. Cheers. Contacted MrP regarding second one, and asked you to contact the chap responsible for the first one, if you wouldn't mind *paranoia attack*
