well, I play right handed clubs, but hold them left handed, after talking to gangsta breifly, I decided to try out left handed clubs, so in theory, my grip will be correct and hopefully I'll be able to get more accurate shots in, and hit the buggers a little further!!

I'm not into landscape gardening but I will make some enquiries
Do we have to wear golf shoes or can we get away with trainers?

Not really mate, but if we go to the course that im trying to organise (www.southernvalley.co.uk ) then you could probably get away with it.

Andy, the usual dress cose on a course is trousers, no denim, no t shirts, polo shirts, such as the Essex Scooby Crew shirts (Curtesy of THE man, Tiny )
and no trainers, golf shoes are not compulsory, but handy, especially is the ground is wet

ps, I'm down as a 24 handicap, curtesy of Gangsta, hopefully my new clubs will give me an edge, not that I'm going to hold my breath, just remember, Betts has only had 2 proper rounds, but a few hours on a range

The only thing letting you down mate is that grip. Hopefully making that switch and slowing your swing will make those lovely shots you had a lot more regular.

All betts needs to do is rely on us to watch where his golf ball goes instead of lifting his head a few seconds before he strikes the ball. He has a nice natural swing.

Looking forward to the next round.

hanbury manor 5 minutes down the road to me, lovely course, played there earlier this year, I was the only idiot to spank the ball into the car park (with all the brand spanking new ferraris and range rovers, porches etc).

Other than that had a great time :P
