When I placed my call on the forum,I had no idea that it would turn out to something as big as this. Yes.........I cried a lot of times during the day. That all those people did this for my child,a boy they had never seen before. It still brings tears in my eyes,And with me a lot of other people too. A lot of newspapers down here wrote about it,for us it is a life time memorie, one that really made Jesse's day. Thank you all for caring

Jon [Elmer Fudpucker] or anyone here at the event.
Does any of you have Jesse's home address, and the person who spearheaded that event? Y'all can reach me at e-mail addy in my profile or "hypov at iace dot com".
Briefly, Subaru of America have learned about the thoughtful and touching event and wishes to get in touch with Jesse and the organizer.

I can put you in contact with one of the persons that helped organize it, mail is on it's way .
As someone who was there I must say I'm totally awestruck by the response on this thread, it's unreal.
And I think I speak for all of those involved that day that we never even thought twice about going to Jesse and give him a day to remember, and it was very rewarding to see the smiles, not only on Jesse's face, but also the rest of his family, friends and neighbours.
To me it was a small gesture and a great day out, plus an oppertunity to make someone really happy with my hobby.
That it would grow out to something of these proportions is amazing and totally unexpected by all of us.
I think it is the first time that there are so many carfanatics from different makes on one thread, and everytime i read this i get a lump in my throat.
I just had to say thank you to all off you and I think I speak for all who were there and of course also Jesse and family.
Unreal
thank you from Holland

would it be possable to have a section on scoobynet that gives us information on this sort of event. because me for one would do not want to miss the chance to do this for anyone else in these circumstances.
makes me proud to drive a scooby.

Well this has just been posted on http://www.clubgti.com/forum.
I'd just like to say how impressed we all are over there. Funny how the simple things in life seem to bring such joy to a lot of peoples hearts.
You have gone a fair way to restoring a lot of people's fair in society.
ALL of you deserve a HUGE from us at ClubGTI.
On a personal note I am seriously impressed that this stuck a chord in everyones hearts and that so many of you responded. I feel truly humbled.
