When I placed my call on the forum,I had no idea that it would turn out to something as big as this. Yes.........I cried a lot of times during the day. That all those people did this for my child,a boy they had never seen before. It still brings tears in my eyes,And with me a lot of other people too. A lot of newspapers down here wrote about it,for us it is a life time memorie, one that really made Jesse's day. Thank you all for caring

Hi Micaela, hadn't realised you had posted . I'm sure all the guy's that went over to your place appreciate your heartfelt thanks. Thankyou for taking time out and posting on Scoobynet and once again a great many thanks to the Scooby drivers that attended they have not only done themselves proud but also all car enthusiasts out there..................... and theres quite a few isn't there

hello all

had to register and say a few things.

this has just appeared on our forums at www.seatcupra.net

what a wonderful, thoughful and amazing thing all those guys did for that little boy. you should all be truely proud of yourselves and by the looks of the responses on here you have touched the hearts of hundreds of people all around the world, not just in the UK, and especially that guy who the whole day was centered around.

if only we could come together and do things like that more often the world would be a much better place to live in. scooby drivers i can only say well done to you and on behalf of the guys and girls on seatcupra.net. truely amazing.

Jon [Elmer Fudpucker] or anyone here at the event.

Does any of you have Jesse's home address, and the person who spearheaded that event? Y'all can reach me at e-mail addy in my profile or "hypov at iace dot com".

Briefly, Subaru of America have learned about the thoughtful and touching event and wishes to get in touch with Jesse and the organizer.

Hi there,
I can put you in contact with one of the persons that helped organize it, mail is on it's way .

As someone who was there I must say I'm totally awestruck by the response on this thread, it's unreal.
And I think I speak for all of those involved that day that we never even thought twice about going to Jesse and give him a day to remember, and it was very rewarding to see the smiles, not only on Jesse's face, but also the rest of his family, friends and neighbours.
To me it was a small gesture and a great day out, plus an oppertunity to make someone really happy with my hobby.
That it would grow out to something of these proportions is amazing and totally unexpected by all of us.
I think it is the first time that there are so many carfanatics from different makes on one thread, and everytime i read this i get a lump in my throat.
I just had to say thank you to all off you and I think I speak for all who were there and of course also Jesse and family.

Unreal

thank you from Holland

made me cry a hugh well done to everyone involved.

would it be possable to have a section on scoobynet that gives us information on this sort of event. because me for one would do not want to miss the chance to do this for anyone else in these circumstances.
makes me proud to drive a scooby.
well done again

you see these programs on telly were you send a few pounds in for a charity.

wich is all very nobble and thoughtfull and of course helps people that are less fortunate than or good selfs and is very nice of people to help out in that way . but sitting in front of the telly and making a phone call is a little to easy, £5 or so out of your pocket isnt that much realy . Not when it compares to what you guys and girls have done. you acctualy got off your arsses and done somthing you have made a little chap so dam happy it brings tears.

from all of us at www.rtoc.org truly aswusum gesture

Well this has just been posted on http://www.clubgti.com/forum.

I'd just like to say how impressed we all are over there. Funny how the simple things in life seem to bring such joy to a lot of peoples hearts.
You have gone a fair way to restoring a lot of people's fair in society.

ALL of you deserve a HUGE from us at ClubGTI.

On a personal note I am seriously impressed that this stuck a chord in everyones hearts and that so many of you responded. I feel truly humbled.
