I'm from the MR2 Owner's Club http://www.mr2oc.com in the US
I'd just like to say that you guys who did this are a great group of guys. We're all very proud of you as car enthusiasts and as human beings. Reading this thread brought tears to my eyes. It's such a great thing you guys did.
Jesse, Micaela and company. I don't own a Subaru, but you can bet I would have loved to have been there to see the look on Jesse's face when he got to see his dream car sitting outside (over 150 of them!) all just waiting to give him a ride. This is truly a great thing. Best of wishes to you and your mom, Jesse. Hope you read this. You're a great little kid. Just remember, though. Toyota MR2 owners love ya, too!

I hale from across the pond at www.i-club.com
I don't know what else can be said that hasn't already been but I'd just like to give everyone involved my deepest regards for their selfless act of kindness. Things such as this event show that there are people of character in the world that look out for more then themselves.
Once again props to all.

hello from www.is300.net
you guys are great! fantastic job, its too bad kids dont feel that way about the IS, but as a fellow car enthusiast its awesome that your community came together. It also shows you how powerful the internet really is, as I'm in texas, USA reading about happenings in europe. We need more people like this!

Greetings from www.CelicaSupra.com
I read every page of this thread, and I have to say (like everyone else has) how impressed I am with you guys. What a wonderful thing to do...not to mention the impact you've made on his life. He may just end up being a Subaru owner one day, who knows? I'm convinced that no matter what happens, this will keep him positive and smiling for some time to come.
I hope that what you've done trickles down to all the other car clubs out there...if we all did something with so much heart, this world would be so much better for it.
Best of luck to you Scooby Owners!
Stephen

Greetings from Honda-Tech.com,
This is truly unbelievable. I haven't felt so warm inside for the longest time. You guys gave Jesse memories that will last a lifetime.
I'm sure all the boards' praise is nothing compared to how you guys felt when impacting a child's life in such a huge way.

This thread made it all the way to a Toyota Matrix enthusiasts site, and to me in particular, out here in Hawaii.... almost 13,000 miles away!
My hats off to all the Scoobys that attended the event. I myself was confined to a wheelchair for several months this year with the chronic form of Guillan Barre ( C.I.D.P.). It would have been great if my fellow Toyota owners visited more often than they did to lend support, but alas I was not granted such support..... something that would surely have lifted my spirits. If only the world were filled with such enthusiasts as yourselves, perhaps we'd be a much happier society. Someday perhaps.
From all of us at MatrixOwners.com , we salute you.
Sincerely,
Bradley A Williams :aka: godofturismo3, Site Moderator @ MatrixOwners.com

You don't have to be a performance car enthusiast to recognise a truely touching act of generosity and humanity. From those at maestro.org.uk we salute those who attended.
I hope this act inspires other clubs and members to try to follow suit and give something back to the commuinities in which we live all over the world. In a generally uncaring world it is touching to see that people do still care and will go out of their way to make someone happy.

Admiration!
This thread and what you guys have done is becoming almost a legend! It has obviously reached a number of enthusiasts clubs across the world, with my post being of the same calibre!
I read through the posts, looked at the pictures, and i am aware of a number of fellow club members doing so also! The general concensus from the thread over on the forum is that you guys did a wonderful thing for the kiddie, something that he will never forget, which is amazing!
You guys have made a real difference to his life, and should be very proud of yourselves, not to mention your club, for doing such a noble thing.
Much respect!
