Proud to be a Subaru owner today ... Well done everyone involved.
We were at a gathering like this last year for Robin, a young boy with cancer. I was so heartbroken to read earlier in this thread that he has now passed away.

Every day of life is so precious.

Events like this restores my faith in people.
So many people moved by a simple gesture, all it took was a little organisation and a little boys heart has been touched forever.

Love to Jesse and his family and Best Wishes to the motoring community all over the world.

Drive carefully

I've just finished reading all 14 pages of this thread (so far). Utterly amazing. I don't mind admitting I've blubbed my way through this whole thread so far.

Has anyone inform the press in their relevant countries? I think the world could do with some good, heartwarming news right now.

From TS-OGN, Toyota Sportscar Owners Group Norway,

This is truly a fantastic event.. As the skyline group said, we often forget what's really important, and are too selfish at times...

Honor and very much respect...

apathic,

Very moving, both the generous selfless act for the boy and the response from the net.

I was so taken by the numerous and varied sites paying respects, I wrote a ditty to extract all the visiting people's site addresses. 171 of them! wow.

Let me know if you want the list.

We will never truely understand the enlightenment that this day brought to Jesse but we can imagine and cry from enjoyment!
A truely spectacular occasion that should of been broadcasted around the world for all to see on national television!
Jesse you are a brave little boy and never stop smiling as its people like yourself that the world needs more of.
An inspiration to all, lets hope to see more remarkable heart warming kindness like this one

Default Touching and amazing!

Beyond touching...what a wonderful story. Makes me proud to be a car enthusiast and it shows that the world is filled with kindness. To Jesse and his mum: To the Scoobys who made it happen: You're an inspiration to us all

Best regards from the Ford Taurus SHO community, USA

I read about the day out for Jesse on the www.tt-forum.co.uk

It's such a heart warming story. It makes me realise how insignificant my own so called 'problems' can be at times.

To all those involved...

Kind regards,
Aidan

News of your fantastically compassionate and kind-hearted visit to Holland for Jesse has reached the good folk of the BriSCA F1 stockar racing fans’ forum at http://forum.stoxnet.com – from whence I hail, bearing congratulations as I tip my hat in your direction.

Well done guys, I’m sure you made a great many more folks’ day than just Jesse’s. He and his family are sure to remember your visit forever.

Just spent the afternoon reading this at work, and passed onto a few of the petrol heads, so it will be making more appearances on the net

Many times tears came to my eyes, especially reading Micaela's replies, like so many others have already said this was a truly fantastic gesture by so many and restores ones faith in humanity.

It reminds you of what is important in life

I want to go home and cuddle my kids now.

Respect Love and strength to Jesse, Micaela and family

I would really just like to congratulate all of you who participated on behalf of the community of BMW-Forums.com. I was personally very moved by the whole thing and I can only say that if the same thing were to happen with the BMW community, I would be there in a heartbeat. I would also like to congratulate some of you on owning some seriously nice motors.

Well done, and good on you all.

"wouldn't it be cool if all our clubs/formums came together to do more like this on a massive scale -

1. it'd brighten up the lives of many fortunate and less fortunate individuals alike (ourselves included)

2. it'd also echo what's been said here by people off many forums - and show the world that car enthusiasts are also real people who care and can make a huge difference (despite the govt hitting us for 6 ever which £££ way they can). another example is our annual NBO!

i'm glad this has circulated worldwide... i'm sure all involved feel very appreciated and proud (and so they should) - as a community (all forums/clubs) we have the power to make a huge difference to many people and we ask for nothing, bar some appreciation!

well done again eveyone!

Kev"

Well I for one am happy to say that I would be very willing to participate in a cross forum/manufacturer meet, the Bimmerforums.com thursday Fuddrucker's meets in Pasadena, California tend to include Supra TTs, IS300s (3.0L Altezzas), Subies, Bimmers, and all kinds of other cars. I personally may be a Bimmerhead, but I enjoy meeting and chatting to all sorts of car lovers, if you're a petrolhead, you're cool with me.

Smile Hello from Southern Ontario, Canada!

Just saw this post come across our local BBS and though I should say 'Hi' and thanks for putting this event together. Very impressive and heart warming, this sort of thing should happen more often around the world.

Mark here from www.lancer-evo.net - just dropped a line to say that has to be one of the amazing things I have read about. Just goes to show what a true community spirit can achieve. Well done and my prayers go out to young Jesse and his family.

Respect.
