Guy's I need a favour

I am looking to BORROW a set of 17" Sti MY03/04 wheels for TYRE TESTING AT BEDFORD.

I have arranged for several Manufactures to supply some road legal slicks for our evaluation [Still waiting for confirmation but I have at least 2 confirmed]

I have chosen the above size because they should FIT ALL IMPREZA'S within reason [Not sure about MY05 Sti ]

If you can help please email me

A quote from a private message sent to me on another forum ......

I assume phil will have had all this stuff ironed out before you get there. I also cant say how true it is either.

''I take it from the DC5 forum Bedford were up to there old tricks with noise regs - advertised the day as 101dB then dropped it to 87dB.......''

Dont think they were changed, thats what they are. 101db static, 87db drive by. Maybe the people they booked through didnt state it, but Im sure Bedford state it on their site.

Just been to read the DC5 forum, and it seems it was only advertised as 101db the place they booked it with.

Any of the companies attending bring tyre fitting facilities???

Or does anyone know of somewhere nearby which will change my tyres cheaply? Mine are just touching legal now, so they wont be when i leave the track

Gary
Im after a bit more advise please.
I brought a 2nd hand set of 16" standard scooby alloys today.
Dont want to use my 18"'s
They have legal tyres but only just,do you think just legal tyres are ok for a track day or should i look to get some cheap tyres put on.
I am not looking to set any records just have a bit of fun.

Thanks

Martyn
