Update from John Baldock who has gone to Bedford this morning to reccy the circuit and meet the staff

Whilst there is a little snow lying on the site, Bedford are confident that Saturdays Event is ON

its Bleedin Cold though so please wrap up warm I would remind spectators there is no real shelter other than the garages which will be busy so this is particulary applicable to you

If there is any change to this I will post this evening.

See you tomorrow

Here at Wellingborough, The Sun is now attempting to burn it's way through thin clouds. Shadows being cast. Outside temp = 1.4 degrees C. and rising.

You old boys will be out spending your £150 a corner on trick tyres now and I will turn up in my beaten up old french clutter with a £150 full set of tyres and have just as much fun..and I will get to go home with more tyre and brake pad left

It may not be fast but its fun ...... 205's rule ......

I pity the poor bloody snapper standing out in the cold all day.

Oh bugger, that's me isn't it. Good job I carry my own insulation.

GETTING READY TO GO!!!!

Forecasters said that it would be -4 overnight ...... It hasn't been at Wellingborough, it is + 1.8, roads are damp and there is only a slight hint of frost on windscreens.

You all have a good day driving, we are coming to watch!

We are fully paid up spectators, we've been looking forward to this meet since last November, cheers for the warning though.

No problem glad you and your Dad enjoyed the day even if Mum was freezing in the Carpark Soon you'll have a Car, Please remember what I said, "the road is for 60-70mph and the Track is for when you want to go faster

Phil,
Please pass on a big thanks to all of the Commitee that have worked tirelessly and unpaid, to get this Trackday on the road

I feel a bit sorry for the Tyre guys I feel is the weather hadn't been so iffy they certainly would have had more use on those slicks

Tony
