LOL, the Scooby is not mine, it belong to my little Bro Phil.

I own (guess by my user name ) a GTiR

btw, the car you saw in Tyldesley was not Phil as he was at work in Wigan.

This is what Phil's car looks like:

I realised you would probably have a GTIR (by the name) however there is a guy called Andy who owns and drives a scoob that I saw. Thats who I was referring to.

What colour is your GTIR is it the purply pinkish one? I used to have a red one a few years back before I wrote it off

The lad who owns the Marroon GTi-R lives near St Helens road in Leigh. I did see it quite regular, but now I very rarely see it at all. Apparently I heared, it was off the road for a while with a major rebuild.

yes I've not seen it for ages as well. Hope the major rebuild includes decent brakes.

I'd been for petrol in Astley when you saw me. The car has gone into HyperSR today to have the clutch replaced/repaired so Scoobyless this evening. Don't have to worry about ******* walking past the house tonight.

I've seen a hell of a lot of new scoobs around here this last couple of weeks.
Has anyone else noticed an increase?

yes have seen a few new ones but not been in my scoob at the time. Have you sorted the misfire out yet?
Just got myself a sti spoiler for the back so just in the process of spraying it, should have it on my car over the christmas period. (just need some daylight to finish spraying it!)

How much is the clutch costing you?

Hopefully the clutch is under warranty. Was only fitted in Feb.(Must be Lynne's driving). Don't know exactly how much it cost as we had the rear brake pads done at the same time. With the paddle clutch and pads it was just over £900.

As regards the misfire we'll sort that out when the clutch is right although it has been running better recently despite dodgy clutch.

Hope you get some light to spray the spoiler.

Well my Bugeye has been sat on the path since christmas eve and I've been ill in bed since christmas day, so you won't have seen me about. But I'm back in the land of the living now so hopefully I'll see some of you about.

Hope you have all had a good christmas so far and good new year to come.

Hi matey.

My celica is like a really wierd sea green colour. I'm only able to drive it from this coming Thursday, as I have to wait for my insurance cover note.

It's the one in these pics:

I am driving this untill Wednesday though:

I think I've spoke to you before on the GTiRoc. Are you under the same username on there?

Does anybody on here drive the dark blue UK00 V-Reg, with tinted back lights?

Is anybody interested in the white 15" Enkei Alloys which are on my Nissan March? I'm breaking it for parts. They are only about 5 months old, wheels are concourse condition with 4 month old tyres on - 195/45/R15 for £230. Not much use for a Scoob... but you never know, lol. They look great on GTi-R's, as I've seen quite a few with them on.

Here's a better pic of one:

I thought you was.

Thanks for the offer matey for advertising the wheels. I am registered on the GTi-Roc, but cannot post on the for sale forum, since they made it members only.

Anyway, I've sold the alloys now. All the more money for tuning the celica.

Cheers,
-Elliot

Who has the white STI Wagen with gold alloys? I've seen it parked in Tyldesley the week before Christmas.

I flashed a silver classic today, when I was in my Celica. Anybody on here...?

Local pharmacist owns the white wagon. Its quite heavily modified so I don't try to race him. Seems like a decent bloke when I've spoken to him. Like myself he's also got a Primera as well although he's is a GT. Obviously earns too much.

First time ours has ran properly since buying it. Had the new clutch fitted and aluminium flywheel. Not under warranty so the bill was a nice christmas eve present for us both. £1600 on clutches within 10 months is a bit steep considering that we'd never had any clutches replaced in the last 20 years on other vehicles. Hope the job has been done well this time. Would have been more but for the joys of cash.

I will wave at you eventually . We always manage to miss both of us driving at the same time. Has the spoiler been sprayed?

Followed into Leigh from Tyldesley yesterday by blue bugeye. Pity you had to turn right at Kirkhall Lane. I wanted a standing start against you at the lights. Thanks for the wave though. Only second time from a bugeye driver. You'll be a legend around here

That would be the stickered up classic Andy ? I was taking my 3 year old for a spin whilst doing some errands.

Quite funny really, he kept suggesting I beeped my horn at you because you were going too slow

I wave at all the scoobys I see, but I find that the classic just tend to ignore me. They don't all seem to realise that some of us can't drive cars over 5 years old because the company car allowance won't let us.

BTW, loved that exhaust note and I was staying behind you just so I could listen to it, honest... I could have had you anytime guv

Sprayed it but not happy, its hard after a days work then spraying it in the shed. Its okay for now but will redo it in summer. Looks better though. Got a new scoobyclinic back box and centre section yestersay which I have fitted today. WOW the noise is awesome (not good on the engine though as I take it close to the rev limit) Glas to hears it s running okay again

I doubt that would be me for two reasons...

1. I was at home around that time
2. I don't make a habit of parking up outside schools (I'm not a chav waiting for my bird)

I saw a black blobeye this mornig at the bottom of Princess Ave, I waved but I coulnd't see the driver through the pimped out black windows Nice looking motor though. Thats the next thing on my list, so if anyone knows a good window tint place round here let me know.

LOL, who's ever it was, it was a nice motor. Bedford High school I think it is, on the bottom road going into Leigh (not to far from princess ave)

On another note, dont you hate that first speed bump at the bottom of princess ave. It seems higher than the others as my car always bottoms out on it (at slow speeds)
Still it gave me an excuse to get a new exhaust!!
