Yes Dr Evo, I think white works well with bold colours, I had white wheels on my old flamy red classic.

Me too. Also Pulsar GTi-R's out of habit (I used to have one). Most people wave back (if they have seen me).

As people have said, if the owner is an enthusiast, they will just appreciate the car. Never had a tussle with an Evo though, but maybe that is just because there are so few of them (not that I would stand a chance in my lowly Blobeye WRX... but it puts a smile on my face watching a truly fast car accelerate away from me).
