I emailed them and got this response ...

"However, if you wish to pay by credit card, we will have a complete (non-paypal related) subscription system ready within the next 10 days."

Due to problems at the printers we have delayed the launch until 23rd September, pre-orders will be shipped before this date.

Sorry for the delay everyone, unfortunately it has been beyond our control, however I can assure you that it will be worth the wait.

will you be featuring a PDF of selected pages on a website as a taster - I for one would like to know for instance how much of content is spent on the latest and greatest rather than Classics (no offence - loved them up to a year or so back, now a little dated?! - not that latest shape is an improvement - its not - just more modern!)

Love to have unbiased reports on all the popular mods and suppliers eg TSL, Litchfield, Powerstation etc

I think you've hit the nail on the head

I've now signed up, paid and hopefully pre-ordered the first copy.

How does Paypal work, do they send the payment to Scoobymagazine and then deduct the money from the credit card details I provide? If so, what's in it for them?

Got my pre-lauch copy through the post on Saturday. Well I presume that's what it is.
Looks very good anyway.

It includes the contents page, a sample on Andy Forrest Impreza (complete with DR Motorsport Bonnet scoop), Kate Heaths rally Impreza, and xtreme scoobies.

Advertising rates are a bit high for a new mag, compared to other Jap mags. But we'll see how that plays out.
