Sell them and buy a decent car

Which reminds me: I used to see a car with a very expensive number plate on it every day. The plate was HP* 1 (where the star represents another letter, obviously). Trouble is, the car was a 10 year old Pug 205 -- base model. I reckon it must have been at least £10k's worth of plate. Surely they would have been better off selling the plate and buying a decent car?

Regarding the plate, I wouldnt worry about mentioning it in full, whoever owns it does drive the car around in public with it on and lets face it, nobody's going to nick it. The only time you should protect your reg is when its on a valuable car being advertised but when its on a car you cant paintshop it out or substitute a * as you drive it around.

I think the whole Chav thing is kicking off big style, its now on Radio 1, there my be a backlash, we may get Chav Chic and ironic Chav.

 

Is there anything you can wear that isn't Chav?

I wear loads of surf stuff, Quiksilver, Rip Curl, Oakley etc & loads of designer stuff Boss, Paul Smith, Kenzo, DKNY etc etc.
As long as it looks good I don't really care what I wear as long as it doesn't have massive logos emblazoned all over it which is just pretentious IMO, the more subtle the better...

 

So long as the quality is good, I don't give a stuff for the brands really. Have a couple of Boss suits, some Polo shirts and jackets, the odd Tommy shirt and even some Dockers strides. Everything else is good quality, but not "look at me" branded. Has anyone actually heard of "Seidensticker" shirts?

The Forester has S U B A R U emblazoned across the back, but luckily Scoobs are a non brand...
