Quote: So you'd go all the way to mars only to discover theres **** all there?
Since you know nowt about me, then I suppose the decision might seem a bit surreal. However, to go into history books on the first manned flight to Mars - too right. To see what no other man has seen - explore the unknown. And I wouldnt wear trainers going there either

.....incidentally I would like to come back, but the chances are nil given current technology, distance, mission complexity etc and off course the weakest point of the expedition.........being human.

Seems to me that I have acheived some of these things already !

Have fathered 3 children (all boys) and have no mortgage but live in a house worth 450 grand !

However, just to mitigate the above I dont have a huge disposable income, a Fiat Coupe that drives me mental and three kids. I am also a bit fat and have unruly hair, as they say, you cant have it all.

I'm afraid I'm a completely Live for Today sort of a person. I can honestly say, hand on heart, that if I got hit by a bus at lunchtime I'd die totally contented and happy.

Sure there's somethings I'd like to do - but nothing I feel I have to do.

I used to have a list of things, but life has proved to me on many occasions that lists are pointless - you can have all the plans and dreams in the world and they can go up in smoke in a second. You should just be happy right now - if you're not, then fix it. You only get one go down here and it's a very short ride. I don't want of spend one second of it thinking about things I want to do before I die - I'll just focus on being happy right now thank you very much!

10. To be as successful and as happy as I can in my career
