EASTSUSSEXSCOOBIES meet Sat 21st Aug

The most usual package for everyday driving is Turbo, Oil pres, Oil temp. I also have Exhaust temp, water temp, and fuel pressure. I only have these as I am pushing the map on my engine so need to keep a sharp eye on the readings.
If you need any help drop me a PM mate.

Another non-tart here with black faced defi oil temp, pressure and boost gauges in my Sti.
Already got the Prodrive springs, Whiteline ARB, anti-lift kit and droplinks as fitted by Gatwick, and would thoroughly recommend these to anyone considering them.
Next mod is a knock-link so will be interested to know if Gatwick are going to be offering fitting. Keith, any idea of the date? PM me if you would prefer. With the football season upon us theres every chance I might not be able to make the date in oct, and may have to arrange it direct with Dave.
Once the knock-link is in, then I can consider changing the downpipe, and a tek 3 .
Sorry, but am off to Birmingham this saturday to watch Chelsea, so won't be able to join you all. Have a great meet.

Hi Mark
Testing day will be 16th October - hope you can make it. The idea is that they help us fit the Knocklinks. We have to get them ourselves. Any idea for a good source, as I want one too!

Re the knocklinks, not really looked around yet for availability/prices. How about BRD? Could Nathan have a word with Bob and see if they have them in stock, and dare I say it, maybe even a small discount if we order enough .

Well I dropped by on the way home and as I drove into the car park you all drove out, except for Steve who stopped to say hello.
Must be something I said.
I have in my posession here a Haynes Subaru book that someone left behind?

That'll be Steve's (Cheshire Cat) on SIDC. I'll text him to let him know and maybe you can contact him on SIDC

Thanks to everyone who turned up - 16 cars!
Some notable points from the meet (in no particular order) were as follows:
Dave and Mike from Gatwick Subaru turned up - great to see you guys.
Dave Freeman and Mrs F (apologies) came all the way from Reigate!
Three white Scoobs - looked great in the convoy along the seafront! Thanks Jim, Keith and Steve.
That WR1 came again - thanks Chris
Simon attended his first meet and brought along his friend's V-Rally stickered up import
Simon brought his colour swatches ( go for pink - you know it makes sense)
Ron & Claire turned up - lovely to see you again. Weird that you hardly knew anyone!
Daniel from Battle attended his first meet
Zoton managed his second meet after a gap of many many months - well done Mark!
AndyH23 and Chris (RB5) can now be considered regulars
Better mention Scott, James and Steve Duckling as the "old guard" representatives.
Thanks again to all of you, and the weather man.
Keith

Keith,
Thinking of other mods that Gatwick may want to provide.
How about 'Samco' boost hoses, as I know you need some
The cheapest source is Rally Design in Kent, but I expect they will get them from Powerstation.
I may be interested in a Whiteline 'Front' Roll bar if they can get any ?????

Sorry we missed you Nathan.
Goldy LURVES pink.
Scott - great idea.
Chris - next meet is SUNDAY Sept 26th lunchtime at Knight's Park, Tunbridge Wells, where we will be having a joint meet with KentScoobies. They plan to bring about 10 cars. I hope we can do the same.
In the meantime, EastSussexScoobies will be supporting Trax Sept 5th, Alton Sept 12th, and Rally GB Sept 18th.
If there is demand, we could have another evening meet???? We'll see if anyone thinks it's a good idea.

Definitely another evening meet. Maybe eating further afield after a drive out before the weather and nights close in.
The East Sussex Scoobies may be sending 9 Scoobs and an Octvia v RS to the joint meet
